Xu Ning closed the partition in the bedroom and turned on the range hood to the lowest setting.
It’s very quick to cook Malatang. Xu Ning just boils the water, adds the seasoning packet, and then adds the side dishes. It’s done in ten minutes.
Then Xu Ning turned off the range hood and opened the window next to the dining table a little. The next moment, cold wind blew in.
After Xu Ning put on his coat for going out, he began to slurp the spicy hot pot.
Before long, Xu Ning was sweating from the heat.
Xu Ning turned off the air conditioner in the RV. After finishing her spicy hot pot, she threw the dishes into the dishwasher, hung her coat under the exhaust fan, half-opened the living room window, and then she immediately ran into the bathroom to take a shower.
In fact, it is not good to take a shower right after eating, as blood vessels are prone to bursting due to thermal expansion and contraction. However, Xu Ning really didn't want the RV to be filled with the smell of spicy hot pot, so he simply opened the window for ventilation and then came in to take a shower.
It was still daylight outside, not as cold as late at night. Xu Ning felt uncomfortable with sweat all over, and he hadn't washed much in the past few days, so he took out a bath towel and rubbed himself all over.
Xu Ning was still humming a song while taking a shower in the bathroom when an uninvited guest came to the outside of the RV.
It sniffed hard towards the RV door, and when it smelled a familiar scent, it started to bang against it.
The slight vibration of the RV was not obvious, and Xu Ning, who was walking in the water barefoot, didn't notice it at all.
After Xu Ning finished washing and closed the window and exhaust fan, he heard a banging sound coming from the door of the RV.
Xu Ning quickly wiped the glass and saw that it was the ewe that hit her RV.
"Sister, why are you so stubborn? You even crashed into my RV?" Xu Ning turned on the isolation system, and the ewe hit nothing.
The ewe was so anxious that she was turning around in circles. When she found that the big guy had completely disappeared, she was so scared that she kept bleating.
"Sister Yang, you and those wolves are in cahoots, right? Why do you both like to disturb others? You can't do this. I'll file a complaint against you!"
Xu Ning didn't care whether the ewe could understand or not. The glass was no longer fogged because the isolation system was effective. Xu Ning turned a blind eye and directly pulled up the car's sunshade.
The air conditioner was turned on again. Xu Ning took a look and saw that it was fully charged and could be used for a few days.
The smell of spicy hot pot in the RV had dissipated, and Xu Ning curled up in bed wearing a fluffy pajamas.
As the sky grew darker and the temperature around him grew colder, Xu Ning added an electric blanket to himself before he felt a little warmer.
The winter nights are very long, and Xu Ning plans to find something to do to pass the time.
Xu Ning took out the monitor and fixed it to the head of the bed. She wrapped herself in a quilt and lay in front of the monitor.
The monitor has many functions, and Xu Ning switches to another function with a slide of his finger.
Next, Xu Ning will head further southwest. She plans to first familiarize herself with various local geographical knowledge and common sense.
In the domain map of the Daqing Dynasty, the population proportion in the south, especially the southwest, is the smallest.
Many of the mountains in the southwest have never been visited by anyone, and even the regional maps do not depict the area in such detail as those in the north.
There are mountains everywhere in the south, unlike the north where there are only a few mountains. The map even shows the rivers on the mountains. In the south, a wavy line tells you that there is a large mountain range here.
Xu Ning looked a little anxious. She took out the stylus for the screen, enlarged the picture of the Daqing Dynasty map, and began to draw the outline of the blurred southern border.
The area Xu Ning was most familiar with was her hometown. She compared the map of the Daqing Dynasty with maps of later generations and found that many places were completely different.
In the south, many of the mountains and valleys are different, while in the north, it is the shapes of the rivers that change.
Xu Ning used drone footage to draw a map of the south and discovered that the terrain near her home in later generations did not appear at all.
Xu Ning's original intention to go back and take a look faded. The reason was that the mosquitoes over there were too poisonous. No matter how thick her clothes were, no matter whether it was spring, summer, autumn or winter, they would enthusiastically give Xu Ning red envelopes.
To avoid mosquito bites, Xu Ning had spent more than 20 years hiding himself in tall buildings. However, Daqing was a place with nothing but mountains, a mosquito paradise, so Xu Ning decided to give up.
Mosquitoes in other places are okay. The mosquitoes in the north are so stupid that you can hit them with one hit. The mosquitoes in the south are like spirits. They run away when you raise your hand. You can't hit one out of ten.
Xu Ning thought about it and decided not to just endure it.
The South here is not her real hometown, so there is no need to miss it. Going there is not a miss at all, but a blood transfusion.
Xu Ning lightly crossed out this area of the map and continued to draw the mountains further northwest in the direction of advance.
Before she knew it, Xu Ning had become obsessed with painting, and she had finished half of the mountains towards the southwest of Daqing.
Xu Ning yawned loudly, put away the monitor, lay down on the electric blanket, stretched his waist and fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning, Xu Ning was woken up by the cold again.
The electric blanket was still hot, but Xu Ning couldn't help shivering.
Xu Ning looked at the time on the RV. It was a little after 6:30 in the morning and it was already dawn outside.
Xu Ning didn't want to sleep anymore when he woke up from the cold. He wanted to go to the bathroom. He hadn't been there all night and his stomach was bloated.
After quickly taking care of his physiological needs and washing up, Xu Ning took out a tray of dumplings and ate them. Finding that he was not full, he drank another bottle of milk.
The milk was at room temperature, and Xu Ning burped after drinking it.
Xu Ning put on his going-out clothes and planned to deal with the lamb he had picked up yesterday before continuing on his journey.
Xu Ning turned off the isolation system of the RV, opened the door and just stretched out her foot, she felt something hitting her.
