With countless wealth, Xu Ning, like many other workers, quit his job and started traveling around the world!
Everything she had seen in videos before, she could now experience for herself! As she had said before, the world is so big, she could go and see it for herself!
She lived like this for three years until her mother and brother brought her news that her father had returned home, and then she ended her traveling life.
"My dear, your father said that we should go back to our hometown to celebrate the New Year together this year. You can come directly to our hometown. Your father, your brother and his family and I are already on our way back..."
Xu Ning's mother sent a video. She was sitting in the middle of a 7-seater car, with Xu Ning's younger brother next to her, and her little nephew and sister-in-law behind her. When the camera moved forward, she saw the father in her memory sitting in the passenger seat!
The driver only saw the back of the head, but could vaguely see a pair of familiar eyes in the rearview mirror.
Xu Ning's heart suddenly tightened. She put down her phone and rushed to the airport immediately.
She couldn't explain why she was so nervous. While she was daydreaming, the plane landed without her knowing.
Xu Ning took a taxi directly to her hometown. Looking at the familiar yet unfamiliar streets, her excitement gradually subsided.
Xu Ning called his mother and waited for half a minute before the call was connected.
"Mom, I'm on my way back. Are you home yet?"
"Here we are, here we are. Your brother and I just cleaned up your room."
"That's good. I didn't go back to the apartment so I didn't bring my keys. I was worried you might have gone out."
"We won't go out, we're just waiting for you to come back!"
"Yeah, I'll be there soon."
Two hours later, Xu Ning knocked on the door of his hometown.
"Knock."
Before Xu Ning let go of the hand that was knocking on the door, the door of her hometown creaked open from the inside, and a face that she had been familiar with all her life appeared before her.
"Aning."
The full text is over.
I originally planned to write this novel to one million words. After two years of writing, I realized that I had overestimated myself, so I finally decided to finish it.
There are still some small details that are not perfected. I will revise them when I have the chance. The extra chapters will also depend on the situation.
It was really painful to write this book in the later stages. I doubted myself a lot of the time and wanted to give up countless times, thinking that what I wrote was crap. But every time the time came, I still had the habit of opening the software and clicking in. No matter what, writing a thousand words would be fine.
I have written more than 700,000 words, which is not the expected one million. But after thinking about it, it is not so bad. The performance of this book is not very good, but it has the most words. If I work harder in the future, maybe I can write one million words.
As I write today, I really admire the authors who can write so many books. They deserve to be famous. My results are not ideal, but that is what I deserve. I am just a rookie and I need to practice more.
I would also like to thank the few readers who have been following my updates. If it weren't for your occasional urging for updates, I might not have been able to continue.
There's also my handsome brother who silently sends me gifts, my sisters who always support and encourage me, my dad who recommends good videos to me when he sees them, and my mom who silently supports me...
I can finally breathe a sigh of relief. In the new year, I will re-plan to write the next book. No matter it is good or bad, I will write it slowly until I can’t write anymore!
Also, I want to say sorry to everyone who has read this far, because this book was also finished in a hurry, and it was my fault, so it’s okay if you criticize me! (For me, any bad reviews are not a big deal, they are the ladder for my progress!)
The New Year is coming soon. I wish you all good health, prosperity, and beauty in the new year! All the best! See you in the next book!
