Chapter 3: Touching Porcelain

Gu Lingfeng was very annoyed, extremely annoyed. His only artist was gone, so what should he do next?

He has to look everywhere for good seedlings, and they have to be good seedlings as clear as a blank sheet of paper, so that he can have the greatest room to play.

It is difficult to find a three-legged frog, and it is also rare to find a good two-legged frog.

He put the contract into the safe, and sulked in his boss chair. The more he thought about it, the more upset and angry he became. He felt that all his hard work over the past few years had been wasted!

He stood up and kicked the trash can hard, grabbed his clothes and strode out of the company. He slammed the door with a loud bang, leaving the few people in the company with their heads huddled like quails.

China's capital is very prosperous, and of course, there are also a lot of traffic jams.

Gu Lingfeng drove his luxury Mercedes-Benz slowly through the traffic, advancing less than a kilometer in over half an hour. At this point, one couldn't help but sigh that some of the joys and sorrows of humankind are still shared. Regardless of poverty or wealth, everyone is helpless in the face of this traffic jam.

Looking at the long back of the car in front of him, Gu Lingfeng was so annoyed that he wanted to fly up. He looked around impatiently, and unexpectedly he actually saw a small road.

He didn't know where the path led to, but he was in a very irritable mood. No matter where it led to, as long as it could get him out of the traffic jam, it would be a good path.

Turning the steering wheel, he slowly moved to the outermost lane, then turned directly onto the small road.

There was nothing on either side of the path, and no other cars in front or behind. The surroundings were pitch black, and it was unclear whether there were no lights or the lights were broken. Gu Lingfeng thought to himself that he had not expected that there would be such a path in Yanjing.

He drove slowly forward with the headlights on, the window half open, and the spring breeze blew into the car, blowing away some of his irritability.

"Bang!" A loud noise!

Gu Lingfeng stepped on the brakes hard, and the emergency braking tires made a harsh sound as they scraped against the ground. The huge inertia caused him to hit his head on the steering wheel, and he felt a little dizzy in an instant.

After a moment's pause, Gu Lingfeng raised his head and saw a big bump on his forehead that was visibly bulging. He raised his hand and touched it lightly, and immediately gasped.

"Hold!"

He took out his cell phone and took a picture. Fortunately, he was not disfigured.

Suddenly, he remembered something and hurriedly pushed the door open and got out of the car. Following the car lights, he saw a large white man lying on the ground in front of him.

That's a person!

Gu Lingfeng was so frightened that he broke out in a sweat, his legs weakening slightly. After coming to his senses, he hurried over. He patted the person on the ground, swallowed his nonexistent saliva, and asked in a trembling voice, "How are you? Are you okay?"

The big guy was lying on the ground motionless, as if he was unconscious, but the ground was clean without any blood. This was not normal.

Gu Lingfeng was secretly worried that the man might have internal organs damaged, and hurriedly took out his cell phone to call the police 120.

Just as the call was dialed, the big guy suddenly moved, and jumped up with a kick of his legs as if he had come back to life. Gu Lingfeng was so scared that he dropped his phone on the ground, and then jumped up as if he wanted to jump three meters away.

"Fuck! Are you a human or a ghost?!"

Zhao Si acted as if he didn't hear anything. He didn't even look at Gu Lingfeng. He just smiled like a fool and jumped around on the spot, carefully feeling the condition of his arms and legs.

I didn’t die from the fall! I didn’t die from the fall! I jumped from such a high cliff and didn’t even get a scratch on my finger!!!

I'm so awesome! When I get back to see my master and fellow disciples, I'm going to play the flute for three days and three nights!

Gu Lingfeng was stunned with shock, and stood far away from him, looking at him carefully.

Zhao Si was wearing a white dress, with an upright posture and long hair tied up high, as if she had just run out of a martial arts drama.

It was too dark around, and Gu Lingfeng couldn't see Zhao Si's face clearly, but he intuitively felt that if Zhao Si didn't smile like a fool, he would be a handsome guy.

He looked at Zhao Si, who was jumping around in place, his arms and legs intact, looking completely uninjured. Then he looked at the dent on the car, touched the large bump on his forehead, and instantly became furious!

Did I get scammed by someone?! Are scammers this advanced these days?!

Call the police! You must call the police!!

Gu Lingfeng took two steps forward, picked up the phone, and dialed 110 without hesitation.

The call was answered quickly. "Hello, this is the Yanjing City 110 Command Center. Please speak."

"Hello, I want to call the police. Someone is scamming me!"

"Okay, please tell me your location and I'll arrange for the police to respond for you."

Gu Lingfeng didn’t know what the road was called, he could only tell the approximate location where he turned in, and he didn’t know if the police could find it.

Gu Lingfeng kept his eyes on Zhao Si during the call, fearing he might suddenly run away. Unexpectedly, Zhao Si had no intention of running away at all. He simply went from being ecstatic to being somewhat bewildered, and finally becoming cautious.

At this moment, Zhao Si had already stood silently beside him, watching him hang up the phone with his eyes full of innocence and curiosity, without a trace of worry or fear.

Zhao Si's eyes were so pure that Gu Lingfeng couldn't help but wonder if he had wronged him.

"Ahem." Gu Lingfeng cleared his throat, suppressed his guilt, and said indifferently, "You crashed my car."

Following Gu Lingfeng's gaze, Zhao Si looked towards the large four-wheeled monster. He looked around with a hesitant expression, "Is this a car? Why aren't there any cattle or horses? Did I knock them away?"

“······” Damn it, I shouldn’t feel sorry for him!

"You don't want to pay?!"
