"After introducing my son, I will start introducing the second most important person, my wife!"
Sunan looked towards the stage and followed everyone else to look for his third stepmother. He wondered where she had gone and why he hadn't seen her before.
He didn't find his stepmother, but he saw an unfamiliar aunt who had previously sat at his table come up to the stage, holding a large, eye-catching bouquet of roses.
"Hubby, happy birthday~" A sweet voice came from the microphone, and Su Nan's face turned dark.
Well, there is a fourth one.
Sunan leaned back in his chair with his hands behind his back, watching his father and his fourth girlfriend flirting on the stage. He thought it was extremely ridiculous, and an unprecedented anger rushed to his head, making him want to explode.
"Xiao Nan!" Su Nan left. When Su's father saw him on the stage, he quickly ended his show of affection with his new wife and ran out to chase him.
Sunan heard it, but didn't stop and continued to walk out of the hotel angrily.
"Su Nan!" Su's father couldn't catch up and started shouting at him, "Where are you going? Stand right there in front of me!"
Sunan didn't even pause.
"What are you doing?" Father Su caught up and grabbed Su Nan's arm, also a little angry. "What is more important than your father's birthday? Can't you hear me when I call you?"
Su Nan lowered his head and still ignored him. He struggled to leave, but Su's father held on tightly and refused to let go.
Su Nan was furious, his eyes red and he started to speak without thinking, "Are you sick?!"
Father Su was stunned for a moment, "What do you mean?"
"I'm asking you if you're sick! Will you die if you don't get married? Will you die if you don't cheat?!"
"Pa!" Su's father slapped Su Nan. It was so sudden that Su Nan stumbled and fell to the ground without preparation.
This was the first time that Mr. Su hit Su Nan. He was stunned after he finished beating him. He was at a loss and wanted to touch his son's face but didn't dare. He wanted to say something but hesitated and wanted to apologize but couldn't bring himself to do it.
Su Nan stood there stiffly with his face covered for half a minute, then suddenly looked at his father and smiled, picked up his phone and ran away. No matter how Su's father shouted and chased him out of the hotel, he never looked back.
After running about two miles, Su Nan couldn't run anymore and stopped. He didn't want to go home, so he wandered aimlessly on the street, wandering around in this small town that he had lived in for eighteen years and should have been very familiar and friendly to him.
Su Nan's cell phone was broken. It just happened to be broken by a slight fall. The screen was black and he couldn't turn it on. He pressed a few times and tapped it, but there was no response.
Forget it, screw it, the world is ruined.
Sunan put his phone in his pocket, ignored it, and continued his citywalk.
Sunan didn't bring any cash or credit cards, so he couldn't buy a taxi with his mobile phone and had to walk back. Fortunately, his house had a fingerprint lock, so he was able to go home.
I go home and lie down. I don't want to go to work anymore. What's the point of going to work? What's the point of making money? In this fucking world, what's the point of living?
"Bang, bang, bang!" The incessant knocking on the door annoyed Su Nan to death. He got up from the bed cursing, and walked a little unsteadily. He hadn't eaten for almost two days, and it was no exaggeration to say that he was so hungry that his eyes were blurry.
"Who is it?" Su Nan opened the door with an angry look on his face. He froze on the spot and stared at Ji Mubai. "...You...why are you...here?"
Ji Mubai didn't say anything. He just felt that his heart, which had been hanging for several hours, finally settled down. He looked at Su Nan and suddenly stretched out his arms.
This is a gesture of waiting for a hug.
