Chapter 4 Your whole family are the fools!

Chapter 4 Your whole family are the fools!

Liu Ye thought to herself, "Forget it. I dare to steal a few things, but I don't dare to steal silver for now." She took two steps toward the pigsty, but suddenly realized something was wrong. She wasn't a stupid girl; she wouldn't live in a pigsty. She turned around and went to the woodshed. The woodshed was full of firewood, and apart from being a bit messy, it was fine. It was much better than the pigsty, at least it didn't smell.

"Okay, I'll stay here for now. You rats and bugs, don't come out and scare me."

Liu Ye sat down on the firewood pile and took out a flatbread from her spatial storage to eat. She had eaten two flatbreads on the mountain at noon, so she still had three left. She had solved today's meal problem, but what about tomorrow?

Today, Old Liu's family lost a pig. Liu Ya and Liu Qing then discovered that their clothes were missing. Silly girl's mother, upon discovering that the pancakes and kitchen utensils in the kitchen were missing, will definitely keep a close eye on things, making it difficult for her to steal them.

It wasn't that she couldn't leave the Liu family, but she had no money. She didn't dare to steal money from the front room, and she couldn't very well go out begging. It wasn't that she couldn't beg, but who would give her food in this year? There was a natural disaster in the north, and the weather was as hot as fire. Crops wouldn't grow in the fields, and everyone had to go begging. Where would she get any spare food?

No, she can't leave Old Liu's house for now. At the very least, she has to wait until a crop grows in her space so she has something to eat before she leaves. Right, she needs to hurry up and go into her space to farm.

Liu Ye ate the pancake in a few bites, and with a thought, she entered her spatial dimension. What came into view were the things she had stored in the dimension, all piled up together, along with the big black pig, which was lying motionless on the ground.

Liu Ye walked over and checked the pig's nose, finding no breath. The pig was dead. It seemed that any living thing that entered the space, except for her, would die. She didn't know how to handle pigs either, so she would just leave it there. If she really had nothing else to eat, she would cut off the meat and eat it, then take it to the mountains to roast. Hehe, that was really a good idea.

She placed the pots and pans next to the Lingquan Well and took the farm tools to the field.

Liu Ye opened the bag of seeds. "What kind of seeds are these?" she wondered. "There are big ones and small ones. I don't recognize them. I only recognize soybeans and corn. Okay, I'll plant these two first, and then I'll plant the others."

There was only a handful of soybeans and a handful of corn. Liu Ye just casually threw them on the edge of the field and that was it. She patted the dust off her hands and threw all the vegetable seeds into the ground as well. OK, that's it, planting is done. She'll know what kind of vegetable it is when it grows.

Liu Ye arrived at the Spirit Spring Well and saw that the spring water was almost overflowing. She hadn't drunk a drop yet. This water should be drinkable, right?

She went to the side, took a bowl, filled it with half a bowl of spiritual spring water, and nervously and apprehensively took a small sip. Hmm, not bad, it tasted sweet, like honey water, but without the taste of honey.

She drank half a bowl of water, then poured herself another bowl and drank that too. After drinking, she felt no longer hungry, her stomach felt warm, and her body felt warm. She felt like she had inexhaustible energy. She never expected that water could satisfy hunger. Next time she was hungry, she would come in and drink water.

Liu Ye put the bowl on the ground, thinking about going out, and then she flashed out of the space. She lay down on the haystack, ready to sleep, but before she could fall asleep, the door of the woodshed was pushed open from the outside.

"You big idiot, so you were hiding here! Our pig is missing, do you know that? Where did you keep an eye on our pig, you big idiot!" Liu Qing shouted.

Liu Ye pretended to be scared and scurried into the pile of firewood, thinking to herself, "You're the big fool! Your whole family are big fools! Of course I know the pig is missing! And it was me who stole it!"

Liu Qing craned her neck and shouted loudly outside, "Father, Mother, come quick! That idiot is hiding in the woodshed! Our pigs are all gone, and she's still sleeping!"

Old Liu stormed out of the house, grabbed a wooden stick from the wall, and rushed into the woodshed. He raised the stick to hit Liu Ye, but just as the stick was about to hit her head, Liu Ye was so frightened that she forgot her fear. She pushed Old Liu aside and ran outside, stopping only when she reached the front gate.

"Ah!" Liu Laoda was pushed against the wall by Liu Ye, letting out a scream. His head was ripped open, and blood was gushing out. Liu Qing screamed and ran outside, "Oh no! That idiot killed my dad! Mom, Grandpa, Grandma, come out and see!"

Liu Ye patted her chest in lingering fear. Luckily, she ran fast, otherwise, if that thick wooden stick had hit her on the head, her head would have been cracked open. Silly girl, your father is simply inhuman!

What? She just pushed him like that, and the silly girl's father got hurt. Oh, that's great, it would be even better if he died.

Hearing Liu Qing's shouts, everyone inside rushed out of the house and ran to the woodshed to see Liu Laoda. When Liu Laoda saw that he was really injured, he and Liu Laoer quickly helped him back to the room and told Liu Wangshi to bandage him up as soon as possible. They decided against calling a doctor, as they had no money and had to be very careful with every copper coin.

Liu Ya and Liu Qing glared at Liu Ye before turning around and going back to their rooms. Liu Lao Er's two sons and daughter didn't even glance at Liu Ye before returning to their rooms.

Just when Liu Ye thought it was none of her business, Aunt Liu said sarcastically, "Mother, that big idiot was born a jinx. Look at how badly she's brought bad luck to our family. Since she was born, our family hasn't had a single full meal. My husband and uncle can't earn any money either. The crops in the fields aren't growing well. Tsk tsk tsk, now even the pigs have been lost, and my uncle was even beaten by her. Oh dear, our family can't live like this anymore!"

Looking at Aunt Liu, who looked as ugly as a ghost, Liu Ye really wanted to slap her twice. You foul-mouthed dead woman, you're the jinx, you're the one who brings bad luck!

Grandma Liu was so angry that she took off her shoes and threw them at Liu Ye: "You big idiot, you jinx, I'm going to beat you to death today!"

Liu Ye dodged to the side, easily avoiding the old lady's worn-out shoe. When the old lady saw that she dared to dodge, she was so angry that she immediately took off her other shoe, grabbed it, and ran over to hit Liu Ye. How could Liu Ye just stand there and let her hit her?

When Grandma Liu hit her, she dodged; when Grandma Liu chased her, she ran. She ran from the front yard to the back yard, and from the back yard to the front yard, running around the yard non-stop. Grandma Liu was exhausted, like a dog, but Liu Ye didn't feel tired at all. In fact, she became more and more energetic as she ran.

Liu Ye's eyes darted around, and she immediately ran towards Aunt Liu. Aunt Liu saw that her mother-in-law's shoe sole was about to hit her face, and she was so scared that she turned around and tried to run away, but Liu Ye grabbed her back and let her take a solid hit from the old lady's shoe sole, which hit her face right there.

"Smack!"

"Aunt Liu cried out in pain, covering her face, 'Ouch, my goodness! Are you hitting her or me?!'"
