Chapter 335: Third Uncle was arrested
"This is the clothes I wore when I came back yesterday." Uncle Ye handed the clothes to the head of the village and told him again about his visit to Uncle Fang's house, as well as Uncle Fang's gambling and bringing people to hurt Yunping.
The head of the village had a cold expression on his face. If it turned out that Uncle Fang and his men had really hurt someone, he would also be punished. Of course, if he knew about it but did not report it, the punishment he would receive would be even more severe.

Uncle Ye did not stop him, but just said that he would invite Ye Mingzhu over for dinner after the family matters were settled.
Ye Mingzhu walked back home slowly. Aunt Jiang was washing dishes. When she saw her come back, she stood up and went to serve her breakfast.
Only then did she realize that she hadn't had breakfast yet. She smiled bitterly and went to get breakfast herself.
Aunt Jiang asked about Uncle Ye with concern, wondering if there was something wrong with Ye Yunping's injury.
Ye Mingzhu shook her head and just said that Uncle Ye wanted to see her for something.
Aunt Jiang didn't ask any more questions and went back to her work. Ye Mingzhu slowly finished her breakfast, and Aunt Jiang snatched the bowl away from her, telling her to go and rest for a while.
Ye Mingzhu sat in the corridor, and her mind unconsciously thought of Uncle Ye's bloody clothes.
So is it human blood or animal blood? Why is it in the yard?
She thought about it for a while but still couldn't figure it out. Fortunately, the matter did not affect Uncle Ye.
But in the afternoon, things changed.
Fang came crying again. This time the gate was not closed. She rushed in directly, her face wet with tears: "Mingzhu, Mingzhu, someone came and took your third uncle away."
"Hongyu, do you know where Hongyu went? Didn't he work as a yamen runner before? Ask him to find someone to release your uncle."
"Your third uncle really didn't do anything."

But Green Bean refused to leave the yard. He lay on the door frame, listening to the movement in the yard. Ye Yun'an pulled it several times, but it didn't move. He was afraid of alarming the people in the yard, so he had to look into the yard.
In the yard, Aunt Jiang moved a bench for Fang and asked her to sit down and talk.

"Murder?" Ye Mingzhu's heart sank. "Aunt San, please tell me slowly. What exactly happened?"
Fang's eyes were swollen from crying, and her voice was a little hoarse: "Just now, two yamen runners came over and said that your third aunt was involved in a case, and they took your third uncle away."
"Has he been taken away?" Ye Mingzhu was shocked. "Did they say what case he was related to?"
"No." Fang was just crying and couldn't explain what was going on.
Ye Mingzhu was speechless: "Has the person left? If not, let's go and ask."
After she finished speaking, she walked straight out the door. Ye Yun'an and Lu Dou were unable to hide in time, so they could only chuckle at her twice.
Ye Mingzhu didn't bother to talk to them, and just asked Ye Yun'an to call Ye Lang to Uncle Ye's house, the sooner the better.
She didn't know whether Uncle Ye San had been taken away, but Ye Lang had worked as a yamen runner in the town, so he should be able to talk to the other party. They at least wanted to know what had happened.
Ye Yun'an knew the situation was urgent, so he grabbed Green Bean and ran away.
Fang came out of the courtyard and looked at Ye Mingzhu expectantly: "Mingzhu, Ye Lang is here, is your uncle okay now?"

"Let's go and take a look at the situation first." Ye Mingzhu turned around and said to Aunt Jiang, then walked towards Uncle Ye's house.

Aunt Jiang nodded and reminded her to go and check the situation first and not let anyone take Uncle Ye away, otherwise they would not be able to find out what happened.
Fang then became anxious and hurried home.
When Ye Mingzhu arrived, the yamen runners had already brought Uncle Ye to the village entrance, where he was surrounded by several people. She walked forward quickly.
Ye Lang was talking to the yamen runner. When he saw her, he nodded at her.
Uncle Ye was being escorted by a yamen runner, with his head hung low.
"Mingzhu is here." A woman in the crowd greeted her enthusiastically. Ye Mingzhu smiled and nodded, listening to the woman tell her what had just happened.
Two yamen runners took Uncle Ye to the village entrance. Uncle Ye kept crying and saying that he was wronged and did nothing. When he arrived at the village entrance, he didn't even want to go out.
Ye Lang came out of the village and saw them, so he went up to ask what was going on.
Uncle Ye was like seeing a savior, and he cried to Ye Lang, saying that he had done nothing bad and asked him not to be arrested. What happened next was what Ye Mingzhu saw.
On the other side, Ye Lang had finished talking to the two yamen runners, with no change on his face. He comforted Uncle Ye San with a few words and let the two yamen runners take Uncle Ye San away.
Someone curiously asked what had happened. Ye Lang shook his head and said he was not sure, then walked towards Ye Mingzhu.
"Mingzhu, your sister-in-law Ying has prepared some things for you. Come with me to get them."
Ye Mingzhu smiled and nodded, said something to the person next to her, and followed him.
She thought Ye Lang was making up an excuse, but she didn't expect Ye Lang to actually take her home.
When Sister Ying saw them come in, she immediately took out two bundles, one of which contained sewn shoe soles and the other contained dried vegetables. The things were not expensive, but they were all thoughtful gifts.
Ye Lang waited for Sister Ying to put down her things and asked her to go and do her work first while he talked to Mingzhu about something.
