Bai Wenyi was on the verge of tears, realizing he hadn't been able to help at all and had only dragged everyone down.
Lin Xiao and Cui Yu stood still, both looking at Yan Ci.
Yan Ci seemed not to hear the man's shout and slowly said to Lin Xiao, Cui Yu, and Chang Le, "Tie these people up first."
The four ignored the man who was holding Bai Wenyi hostage and focused on dealing with the seven bad guys.

He then picked up the knife and slashed the man's face twice, then lightly sliced the man's wrist.
"Didn't we say we were going to enjoy ourselves? We can't let your hopes be dashed."
The man covered his face with his hands and rolled on the ground.
After all seven people were tied up, Yan Ci said to the people who were holding Bai Wenyi hostage, "Whether you release him or not, I will only count to three."
The man trembled a few times, and said with a fierce but weak voice, "Release my brother first."
Yan Ci directly stomped on one of the people's arms and broke it, causing the person to scream in pain.
He then said to the man, "I'll count to three again, and you can still hold on."
He immediately broke the second person's arm.
The man broke out in a cold sweat: "I'll release it, I'll release it, okay?"
He removed the knife from Bai Wenyi's neck, took a few steps back, turned around, and tried to escape.
Chang Le strode forward and kicked the man so hard he fell face-first into the mud.
She snatched the man's knife, slashed his face with a cross, and cut his wrist as well.
Bai Wenyi was so frightened that he collapsed to the ground and couldn't move for a long time. It was Lin Xiao who helped him up.
Chang Le slashed the faces of each robber, broke their arms, and even slashed their right wrists.
They left one person untied, and left them there to howl and scream.

Seeing that no one was paying attention to him and everyone had gotten on the bus, Bai Wenyi quickly climbed on and sat down.
This time, the journey was smooth and unimpeded, and we soon arrived at the entrance of Hongxing Production Brigade.
Bai Wenyi said to the group, "Let's go directly to the garment factory and unload the fabric."
Chang Le glanced out the window and said to Yan Ci, "Uncle Yan, it's Uncle Liu."
Yan Ci peeked out and saw that it was Liu Guoan, who was walking and talking with several policemen.

“A group of burglars have come to our area. These people are extremely vicious. Yesterday, two girls from the neighboring village were assaulted.”

Lin Xiao and Cui Yu looked at each other in bewilderment. Cui Yu said, "I'll go take a look too." He jumped out of the car and ran away.
Lin Xiao waved his hand: "Go ahead, I'll drive the car to the garment factory."
He found it somewhat amusing; Cui Yu was so anxious he was confused. The educated youth compound was right here, yet he was still running towards the village.
Yan Ci had never felt that the road from the village entrance to his home was so long.
His wife is weak and timid; what if she encounters a ruthless robber?
Chang Le ran desperately. Her mother, Ru Yi, and Xiao Bai were powerless to resist the robbers.
When Yan Ci ran back to his own yard in a panic, he saw the lights were on inside. He didn't dare knock on the door and climbed over the wall into the yard.
Following suit, Chang Le also climbed over into the courtyard.
Yan Ci tiptoed closer to the house and heard many people talking; the house was noisy.
He stepped forward and knocked on the door, then quickly pulled Chang Le aside to hide.
The door opened, and Wang Weiguo walked out.
Bai Xiaoyue asked from inside, "Brother-in-law, have Yan Ci and Chang Le returned?"
As soon as Yan Ci and Chang Le appeared, Chang Le rushed into the house and found it crowded with people, including her uncle's family, her aunt's family, and her maternal grandparents.
Yan Ci followed his wife's voice directly to the kitchen, where he found her and pulled her into a tight embrace.
Seeing Yan Ci's actions, Li Mingyue and Ruyi quickly left the kitchen and asked Chang Le in confusion:
"What's wrong with your Uncle Yan?"
Chang Le, her eyes red-rimmed, sniffed and said:
"Uncle Yan was frightened. Just now at the village entrance, Uncle Liu said that a fugitive had entered the village, and Uncle Yan was worried about Mom."

When Li Mingyue and Ruyi saw Yan Ci come out, they immediately came to the kitchen to help wash the dishes and serve the rice.
A big pot of braised pork with potatoes, a big pot of millet porridge, and a big basket of steamed buns.
The simple yet heartwarming meal was enjoyed by everyone.
After dinner, Chang Le said to Bai Xiaoyue:
"Mom, the fabric I bought is still in the car. I need to go find my second uncle to bring it back."
Before she could finish speaking, there was a knock on the door.
