Everyone was hungry, and the table became quiet for a while. Everyone ate in silence. Ke'er saw that Zhou Jinyan was just shoveling rice into his mouth and not eating any vegetables, so she stood up and picked up some of each dish for him, with more meat and less vegetables. Xiao Si saw this and quickly stood up to pick up more meat and less vegetables for his uncle's bowl.
