Every day when he wakes up, he leans against the window to look at the scenery. When he sees someone he doesn’t know, he pulls Jianshu’s sleeve and asks in a low voice.
When it was time for dinner, I went to the dining car with Jianshu to eat. After dinner, the mother and daughter walked in the corridor to digest the food, and then took a nap together.
After waking up, it was time to play. Jianshu accompanied her to play with the flower ropes and play games. After dinner, they took a stroll, lay on the bed to read a book, told a story, and then gradually fell asleep to the clanging sound of the train.

After feeding the child milk powder, changing her clothes, braiding her hair, and putting on her favorite hairpin, the mother and daughter sat down and waited quietly.
At seven o'clock in the evening, the radio finally came on.
The train slowly pulled into the station. Jianshu put on his backpack, picked up his daughter, and didn't squeeze with the crowd. He was the last one to get off the train.
On the platform, Jian Yucheng, who had been waiting for a long time, was not impatient at all. He was looking forward to the arrival of his daughter and granddaughter.
Jian Shu, holding the child, immediately spotted a figure standing tall and straight in the crowd. A smile appeared on his face, "Yi Yi, look! Grandpa is here to pick us up!"
Following the direction of his mother's finger, little Gu Yiyi soon saw two men in military uniforms not far away. His eyes lit up and he shouted, "Grandpa!"
The little girl's clear voice resounded through the sky. Not only Jian Yucheng who had been staring at her, but even the people scattered around couldn't help but look over.
"Mom, Grandpa's looking for Yiyi!" The little girl didn't realize what a stir she'd caused. Seeing Jian Yucheng looking over, she excitedly clapped Jian Shu's hand. Looking at her expression, if she hadn't been in her mother's arms, she would have rushed to her grandfather immediately.
Seeing this, Jian Shu quickly hugged her and said, "Yi Yi, be good and don't move. Mom is carrying luggage. If you move again, you will fall."
The two-year-old girl's weight was increasing rapidly. She was completely solid, and with the things she carried with her, it was not easy for Jianshu to hold her.
But there is no need to worry, Jian Yucheng, who heard the noise, came over to support immediately.

Jian Shu laughed and interjected, "This girl is even more energetic than me. She sleeps until dawn and wakes up earlier than me in the morning."
Jian Yucheng's gaze shifted to his daughter. He looked her up and down, frowning slightly. "You've lost weight! You must have not eaten or slept well in the car. When you get home, ask Aunt He to make you some more delicious food to replenish your body. Now is a critical time, and you can't be careless about your health."

"Look at your face, there's no flesh on it. Go home quickly, it's so late. We originally planned to have dinner as soon as you arrived, but we've already reheated the food several times. You must be starving, right?"

Aunt He heard the noise and hurried out of the kitchen, "You're back? It's time to eat."
"Auntie, let me help you!" Jian Shu put down her bag and went to meet him. Her father had introduced her to him on the way back, so she didn't feel unfamiliar with him. She smiled and took the initiative to help.
If nothing unexpected happens, we will be together for many years to come, so a good start is very important.
"No, no, you just got home, rest for a while." Aunt He waved her hands repeatedly.
"It's okay. We've rested in the car for a long time. It will be faster with more people." Jianshu insisted on helping. She handed the child to her father, rolled up her sleeves and followed him into the kitchen.
By making good use of his ability to communicate with others, Jianshu quickly became familiar with Aunt He in the time it took to heat up some dishes.
Aunt He, who was polite only because of Jian Yucheng before, now began to treat Jian Shu as her own junior, calling him "Shu Shu" affectionately.
Jian Yucheng was not surprised to see his granddaughter teasing him outside. It was normal.
