Chapter 828 The First Week of School

After a few more discussions, everyone quickly decided on it.

Every day, two people are sent down to line up with all the dormitory's thermoses. After filling them with water, they call out, and the others go down and bring them back. This way, it only takes three days for a turn, which saves a lot of time.

Since Jianshu and Zhao Yueling have to go home once a week, they are divided into a group. The time for fetching water is Monday and Thursday evenings, Wei Ye and Zhou Yanan on Tuesdays and Fridays, and Li Yuying and Ge Mei on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Leave Saturday free and let the others discuss it on their own.

I drew a table and posted it behind the door. In addition to the water-fetching schedule, there was also a cleaning schedule. This didn't require two people. One person cleaned for one day, and a major cleaning was done every two weeks.

After all the trivial matters were dealt with, the dormitory became quiet.

Jianshu poured hot water to soak his feet, and opened the textbook that was distributed today to prepare for preview.

The others also took out their textbooks. At this time, learning was not something that needed to be supervised, but rather something that was learned spontaneously.

Especially after the past ten years, all the students who were admitted to universities had a desire for knowledge that is far beyond the reach of later students.

After the class officially started the next day, Jianshu was even more deeply touched.

She had thought getting up at six was early, but when she opened her eyes, drew aside the curtains, and got out of bed, she discovered that Li Yuying and the others had already gotten up. They were all dressed and ready to go to the cafeteria for breakfast.

"Shushu, are you awake? Do you want to go to the cafeteria for breakfast together?" Li Yuying greeted him in a low voice.

"No need. Lingling and I have an appointment to go jogging, and then go to the cafeteria. Sister Ying, why are you up so early?" Jianshu said as he pulled open Zhao Yueling's bed curtain and asked her to get up.

In the entire dormitory, she and Wei Ye were the only ones still lying in bed.

Li Yuying, wrapping her scarf around her neck, replied, "I'm used to it. When I was in the countryside, I woke up even earlier. And I also remember to go to the classroom early so I can learn more."

Jianshu was in awe.

This spirit and perseverance are truly admirable.

Then he glanced at his sister, who was still slowly getting dressed in bed, with a look of dismay, "Did you hear that? Sister Ying and the others are all going to study, and you're still in bed." Then he checked the time, "You'll have ten minutes. You must be out before half past six."

Zhao Yueling's mask of pain, "I know——"

"Shushu, you guys pack up first. We'll be leaving first. If Ye Zi wakes up, tell her we'll be back after buying breakfast."

"Okay, Yingjie, Yanan, and Amei, please drive slowly. It's still dark. Don't fall on the road."

"Yes, we will." The three of them hurried out.

At Jianshu's urging, Zhao Yueling sped up and finished packing quickly.

The two walked towards the stadium under the cover of night.

After jogging around the track for half an hour, they had almost finished their exercise for the day. Jian Shu supported the breathless Zhao Yueling and slowly walked towards the cafeteria.

By the time we got to the cafeteria, my breathing had calmed down a lot.

The two sisters ordered three big buns, two servings of vegetable porridge and a plate of pickles, and found a table to sit down.

While eating the bland vegetable porridge, Zhao Yueling whispered, "Sister, let's bring some salted duck eggs home this weekend. The food at school is tasteless."

She didn't have the courage to say it during dinner yesterday, but now that they were alone, there was no need to worry about it.

Jian Shu nodded slightly, "I'll make some sauce and bring it over later. Then, order less vegetables and eat them with the sauce."

Zhao Yueling's eyes lit up, "Make more, I love it!"

The sauce her sister made was so delicious that she could eat two bowls of rice with the sauce even without any vegetables.

Jianshu was helpless, "Eat less, eating too much is bad for your health."

"Yeah, yeah, got it!" Zhao Yueling nodded perfunctorily. Thinking of the delicious meat sauce, spicy sauce, mushroom sauce, and other sauces, even the bland white porridge and the choking pickles seemed to become much more delicious.

He took a bite of the bun and nodded, "This bun tastes pretty good, I can eat it a few more times."

Baozi is mainly about the filling, unlike big pot dishes, which seem to taste the same no matter how you cook them. Of course, the taste is much better. Correspondingly, the price will of course be higher.

Therefore, most people still choose to eat steamed buns or wowotou made of two-grain flour.

After breakfast, Jianshu went to the window to buy a few buns, preparing to take them back to Wei Ye, who was not sure whether he had gotten up yet.

If she has already eaten, then save it for lunch.

He rushed back to the dormitory and gave the buns to Wei Ye without listening to her lengthy words of gratitude. Jian Shu took the textbooks he would need in the morning, put them into his bag along with his notebook, pen, etc., filled his water bottle with water, said hello to everyone else, and ran to the classroom with Zhou Yanan.

When they arrived at the classroom, most of the students were already there. They found a seat, sat down, opened their books and continued to preview.

During class, the classroom was even quieter. Everyone craned their necks, eagerly staring at the teacher on the stage, their hands writing furiously. The class was filled with enthusiastic discussions, and everyone was immersed in learning, inspired by the atmosphere.

In class, the teacher spoke eloquently and the students were all attentive and diligent.

In such an atmosphere, Jianshu was not distracted at all and devoted all his attention to studying.

College is a new beginning. No matter how good your grades were before, they will be useless if you don’t study hard. Jianshu doesn’t want to be left behind by others.

After the morning class, she felt so hungry that she didn't care about the taste of the food. She just wanted to fill her stomach.

I took a short nap at noon and continued rolling after getting up.

The next few days.

Classrooms, library, cafeteria, dormitory.

Four points and one line.

Not only her, but all the friends in dormitory 301 are like this. But they are not the only ones.

Every day when Jianshu gets up to go for a run, he can see students reading aloud and reciting under the street lights by the lake.

When I got to the classroom, it was always almost full. Even in the cafeteria, I could see people glued to their books, reading while eating.

Not to mention the library, it is hard to get a seat. If you go too late, you will have to go home.

No matter how early she went or how late she came back, there were always people sitting in the seats, which made her wonder if they were staying up all night in the library.

After a few days, Jianshu's mind was filled with all kinds of knowledge. He was only focused on reading and studying, and had no room for anything else.

It was not until the holiday that she realized that several days had passed.

The first week of school is over.
