Chapter 196: Everything Fantasy

Wenwen looked at the empty room. At first she just felt strange, but gradually she realized that something was wrong.

Where's the door? I can't find the door I came in through. How could there be no door? If there was no door, how did she get in?

She took a deep breath, trying not to think too much, to stay calm, and not to panic.

Wenwen slowly knocked on the walls on all four sides, wondering if there was a mechanism. If he pressed the mechanism, the door would appear.

Time passed by little by little, but she still couldn't find the door to go out. Maybe it was a psychological effect, but she always felt that there were strange noises.

Moreover, this room is sealed on all sides, with neither doors nor windows, but it is as bright as day.

In this sealed room, the air seemed frozen, and the silence was oppressive. Suddenly, a strange sound broke the silence. It sounded like someone crying, or a beast roaring, making people shudder.

Wenwen's originally calm heart was instantly disturbed by the terrifying sound. Her heartbeat accelerated rapidly, as if it was about to jump out of her chest. She opened her eyes wide in fear and tried to find the source of the sound, but she could not see anything.

The strange sound grew louder and louder, as if it were ringing right next to Wenwen's ears. She felt a chill running down her spine, and the hairs on her body stood up. She wanted to scream, but found that her throat seemed to be blocked by something, and she couldn't make any sound.

Wenwen's body began to tremble uncontrollably. She wanted to escape from this horrible place, but her legs felt like they were weighed down by lead blocks, unable to move. She could only sit there helplessly, listening to the terrifying sound that kept echoing in her ears.

Wenwen stared at the empty room with her eyes wide open in horror. Her heartbeat was so rapid that it felt like it was about to burst out of her chest. Her breathing became rapid and beads of sweat appeared on her forehead.

Suddenly a hand rested on her shoulder. She took a deep breath, grabbed the hand on her shoulder, and prepared to throw the other person over her shoulder.

But a deep and familiar voice came from my ear, "Wenwen, what's wrong with you?"

Wenwen turned around and saw Yu Xunting looking at her with a worried look on his face.

Cancan jumped onto her shoulders and put his arms around her neck.

Wenwen suddenly collapsed on the ground, "Where did you go? I can't find you."

She suddenly remembered, "How did you get in? I didn't see you. Besides, you disappeared after I came in through the back door."

Hearing this, Yu Xunting reached out and touched her forehead. "Cancan and I have been staying here the whole time. We saw you come in, but you couldn't hear us no matter how we called out."

Not only that, she acted strangely after she came in, banging on all four walls, as if she was looking for an exit, but the exit was clearly right where she came in.

He and Cancan tried to get close to her, but were separated by an invisible barrier and could not get close.

Finally, I saw fear and terror on her face, as if she had seen or heard something that frightened her.

He and Cancan saw it clearly from the side, but they could do nothing.

Wenwen was surprised. "But I didn't see you. The room has been empty since I came in. Apart from me, there is no one..."

Her voice stopped abruptly when she saw a human skeleton not far behind her.

Wenwen and Yuxunting exchanged glances, something was wrong here.

Wenwen grabbed Cancan and asked, "What's going on? Did you say there's a treasure here? Is this the treasure?"

A skeleton that has been dead for who knows how many hundreds of years, even if it is the remains of a god, is of no use to them.

Cancan looked at the skeleton and said, "I had a dream. In the dream, a voice told me to bring in someone I trust."

Cancan glanced at Yuxunting and said, "But now you bring one more."

Wenwen touched its little head. Cancan was still upset about this matter.

"Just now, a voice told me that if I hadn't brought you in, you would have been trapped in an illusion the moment you stepped into the cave."

Wenwen was surprised. "Illusion? It turns out that everything I just saw was just an illusion."

Only then did she notice that it was still the same room, the stone door was wide open, and it was not as bright as daylight. There were several luminous pearls inlaid all around, and the soft light allowed her to see things around clearly.

Cancan nodded and said, "I have a scent that can neutralize illusions, so the people I bring in with me won't fall into illusions."

Wenwen suddenly realized that this was the case. The person who set it up was so far-sighted. Without the little monkey's guidance, no one would be able to find this place.

If my guess is correct, the person behind this design is the skeleton in front of us. What is strange is that this skeleton has shown signs of weathering.

But the light blue clothes he was wearing were surprisingly intact. Apart from the faded color, there was no sign of weathering.

The skeleton sat cross-legged on the stone bed, like an ancient practitioner. Its pale blue robe, though weathered by centuries, still exuded a faint mystical aura.

Its head is slightly lowered, as if it is thinking about something, or silently guarding the secret in this secret room.

Wenwen stared at the skeleton in a trance, and gradually, she felt herself becoming dazed.

He quickly bit the tip of his tongue hard to wake himself up. Could it be that his rude gaze made the skeleton dissatisfied?

Wenwen thought to herself that it was possible. If he was the one who arranged all this behind the scenes, how many years would the little monkey have lived?

Wenwen walked to the stone bed, knelt down respectfully and prayed devoutly, saying, "I have unintentionally offended you today, Senior. Please forgive me."

After saying this, she kowtowed three times. She had also seen similar scenes when she was reading novels.

It is better to believe it than not to believe it. Now they are on someone else's territory, and being respectful to the owner will never go wrong.

Just as Wenwen kowtowed three times, a bead rolled down with a "click" sound and fell to the ground, getting stuck in the depression in the ground.

It was so magical. The originally intact wall slowly opened a stone door, and there was actually a small secret room in the wall.

Yu Xunting, who was standing by, saw all this and was so stunned that words like "incredible" and "stunned" were not enough to describe it. It was really too fantastic and unbelievable.

Wenwen was also frightened by what she saw. She felt a little creepy. What principle was used to design such a mechanism? Or was the skeleton before her the remains of an immortal who had ascended to heaven?

Wenwen's mind was full of thoughts, but her movements were very orderly. She kowtowed again and muttered, "Thank you, senior!"

Cancan also knelt there in a similar manner and kowtowed twice.
