Chapter 169 Mother Lu’s Thoughts

Gu Jinyao was worried that she would say something even more unpleasant, so he immediately began to explain.

"Qianqian, no, you misunderstood. I didn't intend to send them away. I never thought of letting them leave since I brought them back.

You are getting older, and you think they will bother you if you stay here, so you want them to stay at your grandfather's house for a while."

Lu Qianqian stared with wide eyes, and the anger that had been suppressed rose again.

"I think you should go back. You are not welcome here. We lived well before you came back. It's only because you came that we got along. Now go. When I brought them here, I said I would take care of them."

After saying that, he closed his eyes and ignored her, while patting his chest gently with his hand to calm his anger.

When Da Jun heard that they didn't continue, he pulled Xiao Jun and pushed the door open.

"Uncle, we are very grateful to you for saving us two brothers. If you really want to send us away, we will listen to you.

But we still hope that my aunt will give birth to the baby before sending us away. During this period, we will be careful not to touch my aunt.

Auntie, we are very happy to meet you. Don't worry and have a good rest. We are here for you."

Da Jun raised his head to hold back his tears, forced a smile at Lu Qianqian, and ran out pulling Xiao Jun who was wiping his tears.

Lu Qianqian glanced at them and saw that they did not run out of the yard. She looked at Gu Jinyao sarcastically.

"Now you are satisfied, now it is what you wish for. Go out, I don't want to see you now."

Lu Qianqian simply ignored them. Just as she said at the beginning, they were brought back by Gu Jinyao and she had no right to keep them.

Gu Jinyao went out and saw the two brothers squatting at the gate of the yard. He glanced at them and saw that it was him, then lowered his head again.

Gu Jinyao sighed and went to get some food. He would eat it first before he could finish it.

Lu Qianqian didn't ask how they resolved the issue. Judging from the way they got along, it seemed that Gu Jinyao had talked to them.

Although Lu Qianqian couldn't move her feet, her hands were busy making clothes for the children.

At Lu's house, Mother Lu was also busy with her work. She looked at the things in her hands and sighed a few times.

She was very conflicted now, not knowing what to do. She wanted to see Lu Qianqian but was worried about being kicked out, but if she didn't go she was worried that nothing would be prepared before Lu Qianqian gave birth. She was so conflicted that she hadn't had a good night's sleep for a long time.

"Lu Yi, go persuade your grandma to go see your aunt. Your aunt is about to give birth, and she needs someone to help her."

Zhou Hongying pushed her son who was helping her sort out the wires.

"Mom, what are you doing? Can't you see I'm working? Seriously."

"I'll do the work later. Go and persuade your grandma."

"Mom, your persuasion is useless, so what I say will be useful? I don't know how to persuade her not to go. Anyway, she will definitely go when the time comes."

Lu Yi had no idea what his grandmother was worried about. She had taught him that one should apologize when doing something wrong. Otherwise, the younger brothers and sisters from his two uncles' families would not pay any attention to the three of them.

Not to mention giving them some delicious food from time to time.

What Lu Yi didn't know was whether the two Lu sisters would forgive them, or whether Lu Jianjun was helping them behind the scenes.

Lu Jianjun knew that he only had three daughters in his life, so he had a closer relationship with Lu Yi because he hoped that when they grew up, they would lend a hand when they needed help, considering their current situation.

However, Lu Yi didn't know all this. Zhou Hongying knew Lu Jianjun's plan, but she didn't expose it. Others would consider it for the future, but she would need help at any time at the moment, and as a person, one must think about herself.

Lu Ming and his friends don’t care whether they play with Lu Yi and his friends or not. As long as they are not bullied, they can do whatever they want. After all, there is no such thing as two Lu’s. They will still be a family when they go out. It is impossible for them to stay in this small mountain village forever.

This was also because they saw that Lu Yi and others had changed and apologized to the children, so they let it go. They tried not to blame the children for the things of the previous generation.

Lu Ming and his friends turned a blind eye to the children secretly giving them food, and the children were sensible and knew their limits.

Lu Yi also knew that they had secretly passed by a few children to tell Lu's mother about the situation.

Lu Ming knew that he was testing his attitude towards Lu's mother and never responded.

"An An, you might have to work hard then. It looks like she hasn't visited Qian Qian yet."

"You still need to tell me that. I will definitely help."

The same conversation was taking place at Lu Jianjun's home.

They didn't have the ability to provide Lu Qianqian with material assistance, so they would do more within their ability when the time came.

It is definitely not enough to rely solely on Gu Jinyao. Lu Jianjun and his wife know their own abilities.

Zhou Hongying and her son were still arguing.

In the end, Lu Yi was defeated and dropped his work to go find his grandmother.

"Grandma, when are you going to visit Auntie? Is she going to give birth? I saw her belly was really big a few days ago. What do you think, is it a boy or a girl?"

Lu Yi walked into his grandmother's room and went straight up to her as if he was familiar with her.

If it were the old Lu Yi, he would definitely not dare to do this. Lu Yi has seen her changes over the past six months. Every time they get along, he is testing his grandmother's bottom line, and gradually he has become bolder.

Mother Lu took a look and saw that her grandson, who had been hostile to her before, had become so close to her at some point. If someone didn't know better, they would have thought that they had a good relationship.

Thinking back carefully, it seemed that it all started after she repented and remembered that she had taught him to admit his mistakes when he did something wrong.

But in the end, when the problem happened to him, he backed off.
