Chapter 5: Onset of Drug Effect
Zhang Xiaoli laughed and clapped her hands when she heard this. "That's a great idea! Wen Yan is a fool anyway and doesn't know anything. After tonight, she can only be Wang Daqiang's wife!"
Huang Juan also smiled. "Are you happy now? Without that idiot Wen Yan, I'll put something in Wen Yun's bowl when he comes back. Once you two get married, your good days will begin!"
Zhang Xiaoli lowered her head shyly, "Auntie, you always tease me."
"I'm serious. When Wen Jun is promoted to battalion commander, you can follow him to join the army. But don't forget me, your aunt!"

She put her finger into the gap, hooked it lightly with her fingertips, and a small ball of paper fell to the ground.
Wen Sining opened the paper ball and found white powder inside. This was probably the medicine for breeding pigs that Huang Juan mentioned.
She poured all the powder directly into a bowl of corn paste, then she grabbed a handful of flour and put it on the paper, pinched it into a small ball and stuffed it back into the gap.
After finishing all this, Zhang Xiaoli happened to come in. She smiled and said, "Xuanxian, I'm here to help. You take these two bowls out, and I'll take the remaining one."
Wen Sining didn't say anything, and obediently took two bowls of corn paste and walked out of the kitchen.
When Zhang Xiaoli saw her enter the main room, she quickly picked out a ball of paper from the crack in the corner of the wall, sprinkled all the white powder into the corn paste, stirred it evenly, and then came out with the bowl.
After entering the main room, she smiled and exchanged the bowl in her hand with the corn paste in front of Wen Si Ning.
"Hey, I have a lot of food in this bowl, give it to you!"
Wen Sining smiled and thanked Zhang Xiaoli, "Thank you, Sister Xiaoli, you are so kind to me."
It seems that it can't wait to mate with the pig.
Zhang Xiaoli waved her hand and urged her, "Why are you being so polite to your sister Xiaoli? Hurry up and eat!"
Under the gaze of Huang Juan and Zhang Xiaoli, Wen Sining picked up the chopsticks and put the hard-to-swallow corn paste into his mouth.
Seeing that Wen Sining finally ate, Huang Juan and Zhang Xiaoli breathed a sigh of relief and exchanged glances.
Dinner was soon over and Huang Juan suddenly said she had to go out to do something.
As soon as Huang Juan left, Zhang Xiaoli smiled and coaxed Wen Sining into the room.
"Xuanxian, you've been tired all day. Go back to your room and rest early."
Wen Sining nodded and followed Zhang Xiaoli into the room obediently. As soon as they stepped into the room, Zhang Xiaoli locked the door.
Wen Sining looked at Zhang Xiaoli in confusion, "Sister Xiaoli, my aunt hasn't come back yet, why are you locking the door so early?"
Zhang Xiaoli quickly explained, "It's a mess outside. You've gotten into such a big trouble today. Those scoundrels won't let you go. Auntie isn't home, and it's just the two of us girls. Just in case, let's lock the door."
Hearing her say this, Wen Sining nodded and said nothing more.
She sat on the edge of the bed, looked at Zhang Xiaoli who was guarding the door, and waited quietly for the medicine to take effect.
