Yang Fen said disdainfully, "Qin Baoer is just a pig who relies on his mother's partiality and shows off at home.
She has never taken us three sisters-in-law seriously. If she really comes to a fight, who would be afraid of her?"
Fang Xiaocao: "Alas, it's so hard to be someone's wife.
Although everyone in my family prefers girls, I still hope that the one in my belly is a boy.
If it's a girl, even if she's loved and pampered by her family for more than a decade, once she gets married, she'll still be oppressed by her mother-in-law and bullied by her sister-in-law. If she's unlucky, she'll have to deal with a few difficult sisters-in-law, and her life will be even harder."
Yang Fen nodded in agreement, "That's right.
But it's not up to us to decide what to have.
Let it be! When the child is in front of your eyes, please feel more pain.
Qin Shuwan slept until five o'clock before waking up, feeling a little lost as to what day it was.
I sat on the bed in confusion, and it took me a while to react.
I poured some warm water and drank two sips before I woke up completely.
After making the bed, I went to the kitchen to light a fire and boil water.
After Chen Hongmei gets up in the morning and uses up the hot water, she puts the kettle in the kitchen.
After Qin Shuwan boiled the water, she filled her own and Chen Hongmei's thermos.
I made a small bowl of corn porridge and cut a sweet potato into pieces.
This is a new skill I learned from Su Zhiqing. Cook over low heat while stirring.
Dried corn dregs need to be cooked a little longer
Qin Shuwan had just cooked the porridge and divided it into four bowls. Before she could wash the pot, Su Ye came back.
"Su Zhiqing, you're back. I just cooked the porridge."
"Thank you for your hard work, Qin Zhiqing. I'll heat up the soup right away."
Qin Shuwan chuckled, "Why should I work so hard? I can't do anything else. I just learned how to cook porridge."
Su Ye washed his hands and cleaned the pot in a few strokes.
Open the pottery jar and see the contents are still there intact.
"Qin Zhiqing, didn't you have lunch?"
Qin Shuwan: "It's rare for me to make a fire by myself, so I just made a few bites."
Su Ye quickly poured the soup into the pot and said, "There's nothing to eat, so let's not talk about it. But this soup is very good for your wound recovery. You should drink more."
Qin Shuwan smiled and said, "Okay, I'll drink more later."
Su Ye carefully cut off a little more than half a pound of meat.
Slice it thinly and use it to stew chestnuts.
Qin Shuwan felt a toothache when she saw this. There was only half a pound of meat in total. Was it really necessary to eat it separately? This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
