Chapter 133 Something Happened

Liu Yun whispered in defense, "I never had the guts to begin with."

Qin Shan laughed in anger.

We can't spoil her anymore.

As the saying goes, spoiling a child is like killing a child, and the same goes for spoiling a wife.

“Let’s go! I’ll take you back to your parents’ home for a while,” Qin Shan decided.

He knew his in-laws' temperaments very well.

Let her experience hardship at her parents' home so she'll know how difficult life is outside the Qin family.

Liu Yun immediately shook her head, shaking it vigorously like a rattle-drum. She pointed out the window and said, "Are you crazy? It's raining outside."

Qin Shan sneered.

Once an honest person loses their temper, it's not easy to calm them down in a short time, after all, you don't know how long they've been holding it in.

He packed a few pieces of clothing into his bag and then picked up a raincoat.

Liu Yun saw that Qin Shan had made up his mind.

She panicked and waved her hands vigorously, saying, "I'm not going, I'm not going back to my parents' home."

Without saying a word, Qin Shan pressed her down and put a raincoat on her.

He took her hand and walked out.

Liu Yun frantically pried at the door, her voice trembling with tears, and said, "I really know I was wrong~"

The sound was drawn out.

Qin Tao ran up to her father and pleaded, "Father, please don't send Mother away. I don't want a stepmother."

Qin Rui stared blankly.

Qin Shan smiled gently at his daughter and said, "I won't send your mother away. I'll just let her go back to her parents' home for a few days to correct her bad habits."

Qin Tao blinked. She knew her mother had made many mistakes recently, but it wasn't like she wasn't coming back. It would be good to get her some treatment.

She nodded slightly.

Qin Rui nodded, just like her sister.

Liu Yun's hopes were dashed, and he looked dejected.

She really didn't want to go back to her parents' home; she had to work all day and still wasn't getting enough to eat.

She looked at Qin Shan pleadingly.

Qin Shan's attitude was cold and hard; he pulled Liu Yun away.

The rain then intensified.

Liu Yun's tears were washed away by the rain, leaving only a pair of red eyes.

Looking at the crowd under the eaves, he said loudly, "Please help me persuade them, I really know I was wrong."

The crowd offered a few token words of advice.

Qin Shan felt a pang of sympathy for Liu Yun, who looked so pitiful, after all, she was the wife who had borne him children.

We really can't spoil her.

Otherwise, this family will fall apart.

So everyone watched the two leave, and with the child present, no one said anything.

Qin Tiantian clapped her hands and said, "The sweet potatoes are ready too, come and eat!"

"Xiao Tao, this biggest one is for you."

Qin Tao took it, handed it to her younger brother, and whispered, "Thank you, Auntie."

Seeing that her sister was unhappy, Qin Yan stuffed the sweetest one she had taken into her sister's mouth.

Qin Tiantian subconsciously took a bite, and seeing her sister's expectant eyes, forced a smile and said, "So sweet!"

Qin Yan was satisfied and gave the whole sweet potato to her sister.

I carefully selected another one.

The sweet potato is all gone.

Qin Tiantian took out another handful of peanuts and placed them on the stove.

"It would be nice to have roasted oranges," Yunling said with some regret.

Qin Tiantian shook her head: "How can we afford such expensive things?"

They don't grow oranges here.

The supply and marketing cooperatives do sell them, but they're impossible to get, and they're expensive.

After all, it was transported from the south.

She clicked her tongue and said, "Actually, baked apples are delicious too."

Yunling nodded in agreement.

The children had never eaten it before and looked on with longing.

Qin Chuan kept this in mind, as he was going out of town soon.

However, I can't say right now; it's not certain whether I can get my hands on it or not.

I can't let my wife's happiness be in vain.

The roasted peanuts were ready. Qin Tiantian counted them and gave each person a few.

Yunling doesn't like peanuts, so she gave them to Qin Chuan.

Qin Chuan saw that Yun Ling really didn't like it, so he ate it.

After finishing the roasted peanuts, we added some more firewood, and everyone sat around the stove under the eaves, enjoying the rainy scenery.

When Zhang Guihua heard that there was no sound outside, she opened the window and glanced out, speechless.

Feeling cold, instead of going back inside to lie in bed, they waste firewood by lighting the stove to keep warm.

What a waste!

She put on her shoes, touched Qin Rui's little face, which was icy cold, and then touched her two granddaughters' faces, which were also icy cold.

"Go back inside if you're cold. Why stay here and freeze?"

Qin Rui, feeling sleepy after eating, yawned.

Zhang Guihua picked him up, looked at her two granddaughters, and asked, "Where are you two?"

Qin Yan and Qin Tao both shook their heads and said, "We're not cold."

It's so interesting chatting with my aunt and third aunt.

Zhang Guihua wasn't angry; she just reminded her, "Remember to go back to your room if you get cold."

Qin Yan and Qin Tao nodded in unison.

After a while, Qin Shan returned, soaking wet; the autumn rain was a bit chilly.

He changed his clothes and sat down in front of the stove to warm himself.

Qin Tao asked softly, "Dad, when is Mom coming back?"

Qin Shan said, "It won't be long."

The Liu family is no match for the Qin family.

"Boom~"

Lightning and thunder.

"Go back inside, go back inside, don't stay here, or you'll get struck by lightning." Qin Shan carried the stove back to his room.

He hadn't warmed up yet.

Qin Chuan instructed, "Remember to leave a gap."

"I know, I know," Qin Shan nodded repeatedly.

Back in the room, Qin Chuan tried to get Yun Ling to read, but she really couldn't concentrate.

It's still early; there are still several years until the college entrance exam.

No rush to review.

Just as I was wondering what to do, I heard a deep, muffled knocking on the door. The sound still carried through the rain.
