Chapter 8 Experimenting with Spiritual Spring Water

Looking at the yellow vegetables in the vegetable garden, she remembered that the day before yesterday Wu Xia poured her foot washing water containing spiritual spring water under the roots of the jade tea tree.

For some unknown reason, I wanted to try the effect of the spiritual spring water on plants.

She took a cup and poured it on the worst-growing vegetables.

As if in accordance with her thoughts, those green vegetables and the surrounding greens grew as if under a spell.

The seedlings, which were originally the size of a finger, suddenly grew tall and plump, each weighing at least five kilograms.

Chen Tan was so scared that he quickly ran to close the door to the backyard.

Then, pull out all the green vegetables and throw them into the pigpen, then use ordinary water to dilute the soil.

I pulled out a few smaller seedlings from somewhere else and planted them there. After planting, the seedlings continued to grow rapidly.

She pulled them out three times in a row, and it was not until the fourth time she planted the seedlings that they resumed normal growth. However, they still looked much shinier than other vegetables.

"Huh..." I can never do this again.

Chen Tan wiped the sweat from his head. Although he thought so in his heart, he still couldn't help but want to verify how the spiritual spring water could make the plants grow well without looking too abrupt.

She added the spiritual spring water to ordinary water and experimented on a vegetable patch.

Finally, a conclusion was reached: ten milliliters of spiritual spring water diluted in ten liters of ordinary water can make the plants in the ten directions grow well without being eye-catching.

Seeing that the spiritual spring water would not decrease no matter how much she used it, she simply watered all the vegetables in the backyard.

The vegetables suddenly changed their appearance, looking like plants that had drunk enough rain in the spring, and they looked fresh and juicy.

After finishing the vegetable garden, she came to the pigpen. The two pigs had already eaten all the vegetables on the ground, leaving not even a root.

The three chickens next door were also pecking at the vegetables frantically.

Chen Tan smiled. It seemed that the spiritual spring water had a better effect on plants and animals.

She took a ladle of spiritual spring water and put a green vegetable seedling in it, wanting to see if the vegetable could grow without soil.

The result disappointed her; the seedlings did not react at all.

Lingquan water is like high-energy fertilizer. It can promote plant growth, but it cannot stimulate growth alone.

She poured the spiritual spring water into the pig trough, and the two pigs drank it up in the blink of an eye.

Thinking that she couldn't be partial, she took another half cup to feed the chickens.

Then she gutted the grass carp, cleaned it, and used the dirty water to flush the toilet.

After everything was done, I went to the front yard to prepare breakfast.

Thinking of what Qin Li said, letting her take care of breakfast.

She went into the room where she slept and came to the shelf.

On the bottom shelf of the three-tiered rack were four one-meter-high ceramic jars, each filled with half a jar of rice, half a jar of wheat flour, a jar of cornmeal, and a jar of corn grits.

Thinking that it would be easier to find things in the future, she opened the five big-bellied pottery jars on the middle shelf, which contained half a jar of lard, a jar of peanut oil, a jar of rapeseed oil, a large jar of tea oil, and half a jar of eggs.

She pulled the corners of her lips back. If Chen Yinhua knew that Qin Li's family lived such a good life, she would definitely regret it to death.

In the small ceramic jars on the upper layer are condiments such as white sugar, brown sugar, sweet potato flour, glutinous rice flour, sesame oil, honey, star anise, cardamom, peppercorns, and dried chilies.

After reading it, she put the lids back on one by one, scooped a bowl of wheat flour and a bowl of cornmeal from the pottery jars and went to the kitchen.

She added a cup of spiritual spring water to the flour, kneaded it into dough, and prepared to roll it into noodles.

Afraid that Qin Li would not have enough to eat, she ran to the earthen stove in the backyard that was used to cook pig food and heat the kang, and put three sweet potatoes in it.

Just as I finished my work, the door rang.

A loud curse drifted in.

"Chen Caihua, you shameless thing, how dare you embezzle my betrothal gift and seduce my brother-in-law? My little cousin, come out here and give me back my money!"

It was Chen Yinhua's voice.

Chen Tan stroked the burned half of his face, his eyes filled with cold anger.

Ten years ago, Chen Yinhua found that the original owner was getting more and more beautiful, so she used a hot tile to burn half of the original owner's face.

At that time, Shen Changwang and Hu Cuifen only scolded Shen Yinhua a few words, saying that she shouldn't have destroyed most of the betrothal gifts.

But the original owner is ignored.

It was Liu Xu who took her to the health center to buy burn medicine, but she was eventually left with an ugly scar.

Chen Tan couldn't help but shed a few tears. The pain from the original owner's memory came back, and it was her body's instinctive reaction.

She stared at the door coldly, Chen Yinhua, you agreed to the Qin family's marriage, but ran away at the last minute, causing Chen Caihua to lose her life.

I can't kill you to avenge her, but I can ask you for some interest.

"Tan Nier, what's the noise outside?" Qin Qiuniang was woken up and shouted in the house.

Chen Tan, who was about to open the door, turned back and went into the bedroom, "Grandma, you're awake, let me help you."

Qin Qiuniang sat up with her help and asked, "Who is outside?"

"It's Chen Yinhua," Chen Tan said without stopping his hands, and swiftly helped the old lady put on her clothes and shoes, "I'll chase her away in a while."

"Well, now you are a member of my Qin family. If anyone dares to bully you, just ask Qin Li to stand up for you."

The old lady's legs were not completely paralyzed, and she could walk a few steps with the help of external force.

She leaned on a crutch with one hand and put the other hand on Shen Tan's shoulder, slowly moving out.

"Well, I listen to grandma."

Chen Tan has been drinking spiritual spring water these days, and his skin has become whiter.

Qin Qiuniang was supported by her and went to the toilet. She just happened to see her profile which was not disfigured. She had almond eyes, a beautiful nose and a cherry mouth. She looked like a pretty and obedient girl.

If the other side of her face could be healed, she would definitely be an eye-catching beauty.

After coming out of the toilet, Chen Tan helped the old lady into the bathroom and sat her on a chair. He helped her apply the tooth powder. "Grandma, brush your teeth. I'll go get you some hot water."
