Chapter 478

It was Zhou Fang's first experience to come to the airport in a military vehicle.

"Qingyang, you have really made great progress. You are so amazing."

Lu Qingyang just smiled and said, "What's so great about it? It's all because of my family."

"That's amazing. You finally got your reward after all the hardship you've endured. I'm really happy for you."

Lu Qingyang naturally remembered Zhou Fang's kindness. When he had nothing, Zhou Fang was willing to help him.

When you are rich and powerful, it is rare for everyone to gather around you.

But the one who is willing to help you when you are in the low point is your true friend.

When we arrived at the airport, Uncle Qin was already waiting for us here.

"Uncle Qin, hello. We are sorry to bother you."

Lu Qingyang got off the car first and walked quickly towards a middle-aged man wearing a dark Mao suit and with a calm temperament who was waiting at the gangway.

Behind him were two entourage members with serious expressions.

Qin Zhenhua showed a warm smile on his face and waved his hand: "Qingyang, you are too polite. It's just on the way. Besides, he is Zhong's son, so he will definitely help."

He turned his gaze to Zhou Fang, who got off the car shortly after him and looked a little embarrassed, and nodded slightly, "This is Comrade Zhou Fang, right? Come up quickly, we are running out of time."

"Hello, Uncle Qin!" Zhou Fang responded quickly, trying to straighten his back, but his palms were slightly sweaty.

The aura of Uncle Qin in front of him was much stronger than that of the leader he had seen before, which made him hold his breath subconsciously.

The two people passed a simple security check.

Qin Zhenhua and his entourage walked straight to the reserved seats at the front of the cabin, while Lu Qingyang and Zhou Fang were arranged in the ordinary cabin at the back.

The cabin is spacious, with two rows of dark green leatherette seats facing each other and a narrow aisle in the middle.

Zhou Fang carefully sat down next to Lu Qingyang, his eyes narrowed and he lowered his voice to exclaim: "Qingyang, your Uncle Qin is really a character! On a plane like this, there is only one person sitting in the front, and there are several people following..."

He pointed in the direction of the front cabin, then quickly withdrew his hand, fearing that he would be embarrassed.

Lu Qingyang patted Wang's arm gently, signaling Wang to relax: "When dignitaries travel, security and entourage are necessary procedures. We should listen to the extra things, don't ask too many questions, just treat it as a ride... a ride, just sit quietly."

His tone was calm, but his heart was not without ripples.

The familiar roar of the engine and the narrow cabin space brought back fragments of memories from long ago.

But he concealed it very well, looking calmly at the porthole.

Zhou Fang felt that what Lu Qingyang said made a lot of sense. He nodded vigorously and turned his attention to the window.

I saw the ground crew in blue uniforms pushing the wheel chocks, and I saw the huge propeller blades slowly turning.

This novelty temporarily diluted my nervousness.

However, when the roar of the engine suddenly increased and the plane began to accelerate on the runway, Zhou Fang's heartbeat, which had just calmed down, suddenly rose to his throat again.

I felt my body being pressed tightly against the back of the chair, and the blurry scenery outside the window was rapidly passing by me, with an unprecedented sense of speed.

놛 subconsciously grabbed the armrest of the chair, his knuckles turning slightly white.

“Qingyang! Qingyang! Look! It’s going to fly! It’s really…really going to leave the ground!”

At the moment when the voice fell, the nose of the plane lifted slightly, and a slight feeling of heaviness came.

Zhou Fang clearly felt that the huge monster under him broke free from the constraints of gravity and leaped into the blue sky.

The earth sank and retreated rapidly.

The originally tall buildings turned into firewood boxes, the wide roads shrunk into thin gray ribbons, the vast fields were divided into green squares of varying shades, and the winding river was inlaid in them like a shining silver ribbon.

The white clouds were so close that they seemed within reach; the sunlight poured in unobstructed, illuminating the cabin brightly.

"Oh my God..." Zhou Fang murmured to himself. All the tension was replaced by huge shock at this moment.

I have never looked down on the world I live in from such a perspective.

Everything becomes so small and so different.

It was a feeling of being free from the constraints of the ground and embracing the vast sky, mixed with the surprise of experiencing it for the first time.

Lu Qingyang quietly looked at the constantly changing scenery outside the window.

Looking down from the air, the Chinese land in 1978 still had a strong agricultural background, with vast tracts of farmland as the main theme and cities as scattered clusters.

This scene is completely different from the prosperous urban cluster in my memory, but it is full of a simple vitality.

The continuous hum of the propeller engine echoed in my ears, and the fuselage occasionally bumped slightly when it encountered air currents.

The plane climbed steadily, passed through the clouds, and flew towards the south, towards Guangzhou, the southern gate where reform and opening up first emerged.

Five or six hours later

The fuselage shook slightly, Zhou Fang opened his eyes suddenly, wiped the corner of his mouth subconsciously, and looked out the window blankly. What he saw was no longer the rolling sea of clouds, but large tracts of flat paddy fields, winding rivers, and the gradually clear city skyline in the distance.

"It's too late, Afang, wake up."

"So fast?" Zhou Fang blinked hard, as if he couldn't believe it.

In the past, traveling from the north to the south would take at least three days and two nights in a rattling green train, which would make your bones break.

"Airplanes are so convenient!" 놛놘 exclaimed sincerely.

Qin Zhenhua and Xiao got off the plane together.

His posture was still upright, but his brows showed fatigue from the long journey.

He took two quick steps, took out a note from his black briefcase and stuffed it into Lu Qingyang's hand.

"Qingyang, we've been around this place and we know everyone here. If you need any help, just call this number and someone will help you." On the note was a phone number from Suicheng, written in strong handwriting.

Lu Qingyang felt warm in his heart and put the note away solemnly: "Uncle Qin, you are too polite. I have caused you a lot of trouble along the way."

Zhou Fangyi nodded and bowed quickly: "Yes, yes, Uncle Qin, thank you so much! Without you, we don't know how much more trouble we would have to go through on this trip."

Qin Zhenhua waved his hand, showing a rare gentle smile on his face, and patted Lu Qingyang on the shoulder: "You're too polite. Your father is your good comrade who has been through thick and thin with you. Your child is just like your own child."

"Okay." Qin Zhenhua calmed down and returned to his decisive and efficient military style.

"Go and do your business. Someone's here to pick me up. Goodbye. We'll meet again someday!"

He nodded at the two of them, turned around and strode towards a black car that had been waiting for a long time in the distance.
