Chapter 30 High School (1/2)

Chapter 30 High School

The two of them entered the state-owned restaurant one after the other.

Song Jinglin looked at the supplies on the blackboard, then turned around and asked Liu Qingqing's opinion: "What dishes do you want to eat?"

On a small blackboard, written with chalk are today's offerings: stir-fried pork with green peppers, stir-fried rice, smashed cucumber, three-fresh soup, and scrambled eggs.

Liu Qingqing looked at it again and again: "Three Fresh Soup."

I can't tell what this is.

Song Jinglin gave her a deep look, then turned and said, "Chen Zhi, stir-fried pork with green peppers, three-fresh soup, scrambled eggs, and four steamed buns. Do you want steamed buns or rice?"

The latter sentence was asked to Liu Qingqing.

Liu Qingqing stared at the staple food below the dishes. In addition to rice and steamed buns, there was another line: 15 grams of meat noodles and 8 grams of vegetable noodles.

She eats noodles and rice every day and they are no longer fresh to her, so she might give this noodle a try.

"A bowl of vegetarian noodles."

Song Jinglin glanced at her sallow complexion and said, "Chen Zhi, another bowl of meat noodles."

Liu Qingqing stared at his back as he counted the money and tickets, and suddenly thought of the blind date she had just had.

If it's our first meeting, I'd give you a fifty-cent gift for this dish.

The remaining fifty depends on character and personality.

After completely immersing herself in the situation, she felt at ease.

After the two found a place to sit down, Liu Qingqing smiled and chatted: "How long does it take to take the train back from the team?"

She didn't even know where Xiping City was, let alone how far this so-called Hexi Brigade was from Xiping City.

"I didn't take the train. I hitchhiked back. If I had taken the train, it would have taken three days." Song Jinglin replied gently.

Liu Qingqing nodded, knowing that the train was slow enough at that time. However, if it took three days, according to her guess, the climate there would be that of the south.

"Is it warmer over there than here?"

Song Jinglin shook his head: "It's about the same. It's just as cold in winter."

Liu Qingqing made a big cross over the south and started drawing the map in her mind again.

When the food was ready, Song Jinglin got up to serve it, and Liu Qingqing followed him.

She knew that the waiters in state-owned restaurants were not serving at that time.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Liu Qingqing standing up. Song Jinglin turned around and said, "Just sit down. I'll serve you."

"One piece, so you don't have to make two trips."

Song Jinglin turned his head and curled the corners of his mouth slightly.

Liu Qingqing found the meal quite pleasant. The meat noodle soup was delicious, the three-fresh soup was also good, and the person sitting opposite her was not annoying.

Song Jinglin felt that Liu Qingqing was eating like a baby with only water in her stomach. She didn't eat a single bite of the steamed bun she broke for her, and she didn't take much of the dishes with her.

The food was really generous, and in the spirit of not wasting food, Liu Qingqing forced herself to finish the meat powder before putting down her bowl and chopsticks.

"Are you full?"

"Um."

"Eat another steamed bun." Song Jinglin handed it over again.

Liu Qingqing waved her hands repeatedly: "I don't want to eat anymore."

Seeing that she really didn't want to eat, Song Jinglin thought that she was not hungry because of being here, but was probably tired.

He stopped procrastinating and ate the remaining food on the table and the steamed bun in his hand in just a few bites.

Liu Qingqing...

After leaving the restaurant, Song Jinglin took her back to a grain station. They didn't have much to talk about along the way.

Song Jinglin had a lot of questions but didn't know where to start.

Watching Liu Qingqing enter the temporary dormitory, Song Jinglin glimpsed some scenes from the door and got some answers.

It seems that the problem is not lack of food, but lack of shelter.

Think about it, that's right. After all, I work at a grain station. The canteens in other places may not be good, but the canteen at the grain station is still guaranteed.

He asked through the door: "Is the door hung?"

"Hang up."

"Then I'll leave and you can get some rest early."

"Go slowly on the road."

The straightforward words made him choke.
