Principal Wang's reminder was no longer subtle; he had even clearly told Cheng Mingyue not to act on impulse.
Professor Gu then began to persuade her with some concern: "Mingyue, you are only a freshman. We are not biased towards you when setting these questions..."

Cheng Mingyue's words didn't seem to mention anyone by name, but between the lines she was mocking Yang Lei for slandering her just now.
