"Pick up the letter! Stop pretending."
Instructor Huang sneered, shone the flashlight on the ground, and ordered her to pick up the letter.

She put the letter on the table and ordered her to answer.

"I was afraid she might hear me."
Zhang Xiaomei became frightened by her stare, and answered in a low voice, pinching her collar.
"That's funny. You wrote such a proud letter, aren't you afraid that she'll see it? But when you come to me to report the situation, are you afraid that she'll see it?"
Instructor Huang sneered. Isn't this excuse a bit fake?
"Team Leader Lu doesn't read other people's letters."
Zhang Xiaomei argued in a low voice.

Captain Zhou slammed the table and scolded her angrily.
Zhang Xiaomei was startled by the sudden sound and looked at Captain Zhou timidly. She took her hands away from her lapel, but then clenched them together again, stirring them back and forth.

Captain Zhou tapped the letter on the table with his fingers. It said that Lu Sihui went out to date a man in the middle of the night. It was very detailed and only lacked saying that the two of them did something shameful.
