Chapter 19: Unfamiliarity

Chu Yao didn’t care how big the bomb she dropped on Yang Hang was. She was busy now and had no time to share it with him.

Yang Hang finished his meal in a daze, helped the baby take a bath in a daze, and consciously went to the next room to sleep.

Yang Hang was torn between his conscience and his desires. His previous guilt and self-blame made him feel that he could still make up for it, but Chu Yao shattered this fantasy.

It turns out that the person I want to compensate will never know.

Just a few days could mean a lifetime of separation or eternal pain.

Is there love between the two? Although they met through a blind date, they were attracted to each other, which led to their marriage and the birth of several sons for him.

They were all of age, met through blind dates, and got married when they felt they were suitable. He didn't think there was anything wrong with it at the time.

But now he knew that he had hurt someone, who was once his closest person.

Yang Hang couldn't forgive himself for a moment.

Chu Yao, Chu Yao, Yang Hang murmured to the person who would never answer.

Tears flowed down the corners of his eyes.

But no matter how much self-blame and guilt one feels, no matter how many tears one sheds, one can never get back the Chu Yao of the past.

As for Chu Yao now, he has no idea at all. He doesn't know what to do?

Self-blame and guilt filled his mind.

Yang Hang didn't sleep at all tonight, and only fell into a drowsy sleep near the early hours of the morning.

The next day, the two of them tacitly agreed not to show it in front of the babies.

"Let's set up a memorial tablet so that the babies can worship during festivals."

"Okay, I'll do it. I won't write my name so the kids don't know."

"Well, I'll listen to you."

Not long after, a tablet without any name was made. Due to the sensitive situation at the moment, the tablet could only be placed in the ear room on the left.

Chu Yao called a few babies over and asked them to kneel down and kowtow.

This was the first time for the babies to do this and they didn’t quite understand.

"Dad, Mom, what are we doing?"

"Big Treasure, Second Treasure, Third Treasure, listen up! This is a very important friend to Mom and Dad. She's very important to Mom and Dad, and she's also very important to you babies. From now on, Mom and Dad will bring you to see her during the holidays, okay?"

"Okay, then why can't we see her, Mom and Dad? Do we have to face this piece of wood?"

The babies didn’t recognize the memorial tablets at that time, and of course didn’t know that this was a memorial ceremony.

"Dabao, some people live long, and some people don't live that long. Dabao, do you look up at the sky above our heads at night?

These people who didn't live that long were very tired and turned into stars in the sky to illuminate and guide us, so that we wouldn't be blind when walking in the dark and wouldn't get lost.

"So, Mom, did she turn into a star?"

"Yes."

"It turns out that the stars I can see when I look up are so great. I want to become a star to light up my mom and dad in the future." The innocent Dabao said proudly.

"Hahaha, Dabao, you're so cute. But not for now. By the time Dabao becomes a star, Daddy and Mommy will have become stars too."

Although the babies were naive, they became a little depressed after knowing that it would take a long time for them to become stars.

Yang Hang didn't say a word throughout the whole process, just staring at the tablet quietly. He also paid attention to the conversation between Chu Yao and Dabao.

Modern Chu Yao: Are you polite?

Chu Yao still came as usual, but Yang Hang didn't know about it. However, he looked normal during the day, except that he was silent a lot, so Chu Yao didn't bother him too much.

The days continued to pass without any incidents, and time was like fine sand, which could not be grasped.

During this period, the two of them still got along in the same way as before, but Yang Hang was no longer the same as before, always wanting to be close to Chu Yao or do some intimate actions.

Both of them kept a distance from each other intentionally.

Although the babies felt strange that their daddy didn't sleep with them again, except for Dabao who expressed doubts and was fooled by Chu Yao, Erbao and Xiaobao didn't seem to care much about where their daddy lived.

No one noticed the estrangement between the two.

During this period, Chu Yao made cotton clothes for the baby, sewing them stitch by stitch.

After trying it on the baby, Chu Yao found that it fit him perfectly, so she washed it and waited for it to dry. She could wear it directly when the weather got cooler.

As for Yang Hang's clothes, Chu Yao had never seen him wearing anything other than work clothes at work, so she didn't prepare any other clothes for him, but she still had to prepare a cotton coat.

Also, when the babies’ clothes get dirty, whoever has time will wash them.

Soon it was time for Yang Hang to treat everyone to a housewarming party. This time Chu Yao did not go out again. She just wrote down all the necessary ingredients on a list and asked Yang Hang to buy them himself.

Why didn't Chu Yao go by herself? It was simple. Shopping with a child was really tiring, and sometimes you had to fight for things.

By then, you will have a baby in your left hand, a baby in your right hand, and a baby on your leg. What will you use to grab them? Use your mouth.

No need to think about it, just leave this difficult task to Yang Hang.
