Chapter 59 The Babies Are Crying

Yang Hang and Chu Yao sorted the things they bought and put them away. The babies stood beside their parents, but they didn't look at them. They were staring at the snacks their father brought back. It seemed that they couldn't wait to eat the snacks their father brought back. Seeing this, Chu Yao went to the kitchen to get a plate and put the snacks on it.

While Chu Yao was out, Yang Hang took out the gift he bought for Chu Yao, preparing to give Chu Yao a surprise.

So when Chu Yao saw the tender pink silk scarf, her eyes turned into surprise, and she couldn't help but ask, "Is this for me? Pink?"

"Yes, Ayao, don't you think it looks good? I spent a long time choosing this color. I thought your fair skin would look especially good on you."

The corners of Chu Yao's mouth seemed to twitch, but in order not to dampen Yang Hang's original intention, Chu Yao decided to go against her conscience.

"Yeah, this color will definitely suit me. Others will definitely think I'm still in my twenties." Chu Yao said with a smile.

Yang Hang felt like he was shooting himself in the foot. Thinking about the way passersby looked at A Yao, Yang Hang shuddered. No, he couldn't think about it.

"No, no, A'yao, let's discuss this. Just wear this at home for me, okay?"

Chu Yao felt a chill. When did this man learn to act like a spoiled child?

"Yang Hang, have you lifted some strange seal?" Chu Yao looked at Yang Hang in front of her in disbelief.

"Mom, I know, I know. Dad learns this from Erbao and Xiaobao. Erbao and Xiaobao always talk like this when Dad plays games with us alone."

Chu Yao looked at someone and the tips of his ears turned red.

Yang Hang had no choice but to signal his eldest son to shut up with his eyes, but how could Dabao understand his old father’s embarrassment?

Here, Dabao was still telling his mother about his father's dark history, and Erbao was pulling Chuyao's calf and said, "Mom, mom, I want this too. This one looks so good." Erbao was naughty and held Chuyao's calf and shook it, looking like he liked it very much.

Sanbao stood obediently, watching his eldest and second brothers surround his mother, so he also hugged his mother's other leg and looked at her eagerly.

Chu Yao's heart was melted by this cute thing.

Seeing that the situation was not good, Yang Hang quickly took out the toys he bought for the children.

Although Chu Yao felt disgusted in her heart, she felt that this was Yang Hang's thoughtful gift, so she was reluctant to give it to Erbao, so she exaggeratedly praised the babies' toys.

Children like to come and go quickly. He immediately shifted his gaze and went to play with the gift his father brought back.

Yang Hang and Chu Yao both breathed a sigh of relief.

Because Yang Hang came back today, Chu Yao prepared a more sumptuous meal. The vegetables planted in the backyard were all ready to eat, so it was very convenient. There was no need to worry about not having vegetables to eat in winter.

There was a dish of tiger-skin green peppers, a dish of cold cucumber salad, and the babies' favorite tomatoes mixed with sugar. Chu Yao also killed a chicken, made some of it into chicken soup, and some into potato and chicken nuggets, as well as Yang Hang's favorite braised pork. The family rarely cooked so many dishes since Yang Hang went on a business trip.

The main reason was that the babies were still young, and Chu Yao herself didn’t eat much. Besides, they seldom ate leftover food, so they just cooked what was just right, or packed it up from the state-owned restaurant and ate it with Mrs. Chen’s family.

The eldest child is still learning to eat with chopsticks with some difficulty, while the second and youngest children still eat with spoons. They no longer need their parents to feed them and can basically be self-sufficient.

The babies were very easy to take care of, and there was absolutely no need for parents to chase them around for meals like in later generations. This made Chu Yao both relieved and distressed for the babies, so she usually tried her best to meet the babies' reasonable demands. Also, they basically didn't need to go to the supply and marketing cooperative to buy snacks, as she prepared them all herself.

As usual, Yang Hang went to wash the dishes, and Chu Yao went straight to the main room to write her serialized novel and read books. There were still more than two years before the college entrance examination.

The babies knew that their mother was busy at this time, so they were sensible and did not make a fuss. Because they were used to it, they were having a lot of fun playing on the bed in the main room.

After Yang Hang finished washing the dishes, he took the babies to take a bath first, then played with them and rode horses for a while. Seeing that the babies were sleepy, he coaxed them to sleep before taking a bath himself.

Chu Yao was still completely focused on her novel at the moment and had no idea that someone had been leaning against the door frame and watching her for a long time.

It was not until the light above her head was blocked that she realized that Yang Hang had been behind her without her knowing.

"Why didn't you say anything? You were going to scare me to death." Chu Yao said while patting her chest.

Yang Hang never thought that he would scare Chu Yao. He held Chu Yao in his arms on the chair, rubbing his face against Chu Yao's face, and even breathing faintly into her ears.

"Ayao, it's late, you should go to bed. Don't overuse your brain and get enough rest."

Chu Yao knew what this guy was trying to do. He came prepared.

It was also because Yang Hang had been away on business for a few days that they both missed each other a little.

This was also the first time they were apart for a few days, as the saying goes, "A short absence is better than a new marriage."

Chu Yao turned her upper body towards Yang Hang on the chair, preparing to attack Yang Hang.

However, Chu Yao never thought that she could not kiss Yang Hang's mouth while sitting there, and she kissed a relatively sensitive place.

Yang Hang was somewhat tempted, but seeing that A Yao had finally taken the initiative, he decided to endure it.
