"Who will my parents live with in their old age?"
"Your brother wants compensation."
"Is it you who wants it, or do your parents want it too?"
The suspect looked a little flustered when he heard her question, and hesitantly refused to answer Xu Qingluo's questions.
"I'm asking you a question!"
Captain Wu slapped the table and the suspect had no choice but to answer truthfully.
"My brother died unexpectedly."
"My sister-in-law alone held my brother's compensation money in her hands."
"You won't give my parents a penny."

"My parents asked my brother and sister to hand over half of it."

Captain Wu narrowed his eyes when he heard this. In theory, providing for parents in their old age is a natural thing to do.
He also investigated and found that the victim's parents-in-law were not unreasonable people.
After the youngest son died, the two elders often helped take care of their youngest daughter-in-law and granddaughter, and they had a good reputation in the village.
The grandparents were reasonable and helped the orphan and the widow.
But why are the victim, mother and daughter, unwilling to give the compensation money to the elderly?

Xu Qingluo and Captain Wu came to the interrogation room next door, where a thin man was sitting.
"This is the victim's uncle."
Xu Qingluo nodded, and Captain Wu asked some questions as usual.
The victim's uncle was not as emotional as his uncle.
"I like gambling."
"But I'm not stupid enough to kill my own sister and niece."
"Where were you before the victim died?"
Xu Qingluo asked, and the suspect's tone was firm and his eyes were full of confidence.
"I'm gambling."
"Someone testified for me."
Xu Qingluo looked at Captain Wu, and Captain Wu nodded.
The victim was indeed gambling before his death, and there were several witnesses.
"He was gambling."
"There are good personal credentials."
Xu Qingluo looked at the suspect with a somewhat cold tone.
"Are you sure it's gambling?"
"Comrade, is there something wrong with your ears?"
"My fellow police officers have testified on my behalf."
The suspect spoke in a bad tone, so Captain Wu slapped the table to warn him, and the suspect finally calmed down.
"I'll ask you again, are you sure you're gambling?"
"nonsense!"
Xu Qingluo laughed when he heard what he said.
Captain Wu was puzzled when he saw that she kept asking the same question.
"You're gambling."
"Still gambling with your life?"
When the suspect heard Xu Qingluo's words, the smile on his face froze instantly and his face turned pale.
"What nonsense are you talking about?"
"Whether I'm talking nonsense or not, the public security comrades will investigate."
Captain Wu glanced at his men guarding the door.
The police officer guarding the door immediately left the interrogation room.
"You'd better tell the truth!"
"Do you want to go to jail for obstructing public service?"
