Then I went to a food store in the mall and bought three cooked takeout meals and a bowl of chicken soup.
When she was about to go out, she happened to see the pharmacy next to her and remembered the ginseng the doctor mentioned. She immediately picked up a younger ginseng from there.
After making sure that she didn't need to bring anything, she came out carrying all these large and small bags.
When she came back to reality, her hands were no longer empty. Her hands were already filled with these things.
After walking for another five or six minutes, we finally arrived at the hospital.
She went straight to the ward where Ali was staying.
In the ward, Ali had woken up, but she looked very weak.
"Brother, where is this place?" Ali turned her head slightly and looked at this strange and smelly place.
When Amu saw his sister wake up, he cried with joy, but because he had a stubborn temper, he held back his tears.
"Sister, you finally woke up. That's great. You scared me to death." He came up excitedly, his joyful eyes fixed on his sister who had just woken up on the bed.
Ali wanted to reach out and wipe her brother's tears. She raised her hand twice, but it felt like her hand was being weighed down by a thousand-pound stone and she couldn't lift it up at all.
"Brother, don't cry, Ali is fine." She comforted him with red eyes.
Amu immediately wiped his tears with his hands with an awkward look on his face, and stubbornly refused to admit it, "I'm not crying, you saw it wrong."
Ali giggled twice.
"Sister, this is the hospital. Sister Shanshan helped get you in. You have to thank her very much. She is our benefactor. Remember that?"
Ali nodded seriously and replied weakly, "I'll remember, brother."
Just then, her stomach rumbled.
She whispered embarrassedly, "Brother, I'm hungry."
When Amu heard her words, his stubborn little face was filled with a look of helplessness.
In fact, he had been hungry for a long time. Because of his sister's matter, he had not eaten a grain of rice for a whole day and a night.
Especially when he heard the doctor say his sister was fine, he felt even hungrier.
"Are you hungry? I'll think of a way to get you something to eat." He gently comforted his sister who was lying on the bed.
It doesn’t matter if he is hungry, but his sister has just recovered from a serious illness and must eat well.
Thinking of this, he stood up, covered his sister with a quilt, and prepared to go out.
He had just reached the door when he wasn't paying attention and almost bumped into someone walking in.
After seeing who it was, he called out in surprise, "Sister Shanshan."
Jiang Shanshan smiled at him, walked closer to him and asked, "Where are you going?"
Amu hesitated for a moment, then quickly replied, "I'm not going anywhere. I'm just taking a walk outside."
Jiang Shanshan naturally noticed his hesitation, but she just didn't want to ask any further questions.
"Stop walking around and come in for dinner. I brought you some food. Is your sister awake?" She took his hand and walked inside.
When she walked to the bed where Ali was lying, she met a pair of curious and innocent eyes.
"You're awake. How are you? Are you feeling unwell?" Seeing that she woke up, Jiang Shanshan happily put down his things and walked up to her and asked.
Ali stared at her intently, and after a moment she cautiously asked, "Are you Sister Shanshan?"
