Chapter 684: Unjust

Jiang Shanshan listened to his foreign-sounding Chinese and curled her lips. "It's okay, your Chinese is pretty good."

"Really? You're the first one who complimented me on my Chinese. Thank you for the compliment." Steven said happily when he heard it.

Just as the two of them were chatting, the principal came over and said to Jiang Shanshan, "Shanshan, Mr. Steven seems to want to see you about something. You should have a good chat with him."

After hearing this, Jiang Shanshan immediately looked towards Mr. Steven.

Steven immediately began to speak, "Comrade Jiang, have you forgotten our agreement last time? You promised me that you would take me to the most famous antique street in your area."

After he reminded her, Jiang Shanshan quickly remembered that she had promised someone this.

"Yes, I remember. I promised you. Do you want to go now?" she asked.

Steven nodded immediately. "Yes, I happen to be free today, so I thought I'd go for a walk over there. Comrade Jiang, are you free?"

"Since I promised you this, I will definitely take you there. If you want to go today, we will go today." After saying that, she turned around and looked at the principal.

Before she could say anything, the principal guessed what she was going to do. "I see. You want to take a leave, right? Don't worry, I'll grant you half a day off. Go shopping with Mr. Steven."

Jiang Shanshan smiled and called out to him happily, "Thank you, senior brother."

When the principal heard her call, the corners of his mouth immediately curved up, "That's more like it. You rarely call me senior brother. To hear you call me senior brother is harder than climbing to the sky."

Jiang Shanshan immediately cried out, "No way, we rarely see each other, how could I have the chance to call you brother? You are really wronging me."

After the two of them argued for a while, Jiang Shanshan led Steven out of the school.

As soon as she walked out of the school gate, she was taken to a car by Steven.

"Let's take a car." He looked at her and asked.

Jiang Shanshan thought that the antique street was indeed some distance away from here, so he didn't say anything and turned around and got into the car.

The two sat together in the back seat of the car and soon started chatting again.

"My visit to your country really shocked me. I didn't expect your country to recover so quickly. Life here is pretty good."

Jiang Shanshan pursed his lips when he heard his words. "Mr. Steven, it's a little early for you to say that. Although our country has recovered quickly, there are still many cities that are lagging behind. They need some powerful families to participate and make them better."

Steven looked at her with a meaningful smile.

"Comrade Jiang, you are speaking for your husband," he said with a smile.

Jiang Shanshan was stunned for a moment, then smiled awkwardly, "I admit, half of what I said was for my husband, but the other half I said sincerely on behalf of those who need foreign investment from you guys."

"But you can just take it as listening. I'm just talking, so just take it as listening." She smiled again.

As the two were talking, the car soon stopped on the antique street.

Maybe things have relaxed recently or something, this time when he came here, Jiang Shanshan saw many foreigners buying things here.
