Chapter 19 The injured ox

"It's bleeding all the time. Can the cow bear it?" Xu Laosan squatted beside the cow, feeling unsure.

Xu Dawei was so anxious that sweat broke out on his forehead. The cows were an important asset of the production team. Not to mention whether they could complete the production task without the cows, or whether they could get the mobile red flag, even if the cows were lost in his hands, he would be punished.

Thinking of this, he asked in a hoarse voice, "Has the person who called Sixth Uncle come back yet?"

Everyone looked towards the other end of the road and saw someone coming back. They hurriedly replied, "He's back, but Uncle Six isn't here."

Xu Dawei pushed through the crowd, took two steps at a time, and approached, "Sixth Uncle?"

"Sixth, Uncle Six went up the mountain to collect herbs. He is not at home. I have asked someone to call him." The member who went to call him replied breathlessly.

Xu Dawei was overwhelmed. "Why isn't he here at this time? Then, go get Xiangyang. He knows some medicine."

"Send someone to call for help." The villager put his hands on his knees, bent over and gasped.

At that moment, Xu Guoqiang returned on his bicycle. He threw it onto the road and sprinted to the field. Seeing the cow lying on the ridge, he was furious. "This is killing me! The cow is injured like this? Are you still going to work?"

It wasn't long after he left that such a big thing happened. What a bunch of incompetent bastards!

Xu Dawei lowered his head, looking like a frightened child who had done something wrong.

"Captain, the cow is dying. It has lost so much blood and can't bear it." Xu Laosan was so anxious that several of his already gray hairs turned even whiter, and the wrinkles on his old face were filled with anxiety.

Xu Guoqiang didn't know how to treat a disease, so he could only worry, "What can I do? Go find Uncle Six!"

"I've looked for him and gone up the mountain. I've also called Xiangyang, but he hasn't come yet." Xu Dawei answered with a stiff face.

Xu Guoqiang raised his foot and kicked him. "When I leave, something happens. It's fine if others hold you back, but you're holding me back too!"

Xu Dawei was kicked and fell into the paddy field. He was soaked all over and didn't dare to answer. He was helped up by the villagers. He was shivering with cold and didn't dare to go home to change clothes.

At this time, Li Xiyue walked out of the crowd and said, "Captain, I can help the cow stop bleeding first."
