Xia Hailan's face was completely upset, and the fire in her heart was burning. She grabbed Bi Yue who was standing beside her and was about to leave the ward, and said in a clear and bright voice:
"I've spilled the soup! Look at you, how could you be so reckless! What is my brother Yifeng drinking?! I've been cooking for four hours, and you!"
Chu Yifeng in the ward, after failing to catch Bi Yue, gritted his teeth, frowned, and moved his injured leg to get out of bed and sit in a wheelchair to catch Bi Yue. In just a dozen seconds, a layer of sweat broke out on his forehead. He was in pain, anxious, and angry.
Bi Yue flung her arms away. She'd had enough. Even if she was nothing, it wasn't her place for anyone to yell at her. "It's just soup! What's the big deal?"
Bi Yue shook off Xia Hailan, not giving her a chance. She turned around and ran back to the inner room of the ward. When Chu Yifeng saw Bi Yue appear again, he stopped trying to get out of bed. He endured the pain in his right leg and commanded in a colder and deeper voice as he became more anxious:
"Stop right there!"
Bi Yue acted as if she didn't hear anything. She continued to run, avoiding the long arms and the wheelchair that blocked her way. She picked up the soup bowl with both hands and ran out again. Chu Yifeng was so angry at Bi Yue that his temples were throbbing.
Squatting down, Bi Yue straightened Xia Hailan's stainless steel rice bowl, and without caring whether there was still soup in it, opened the lid of her own soup bowl, and poured the soup into it amid Xia Hailan's exclamations.
When she stood up again, she wiped her nose with the sleeve of her clothes, held the empty basin in both hands, and shouted at the top of her voice: "I'll compensate you, okay?!" and ran out of the ward... (To be continued.)
