"You've left me with nothing. What am I supposed to do? I only have this one cotton-padded jacket!"
Chu Yifeng took off his military coat and didn't care about anything else. He directly covered Bi Sheng's head with the military coat and growled:
"What's wrong? Why are you crying? You have to change this bad habit. Run a few steps and get inside!"
Chu Yifeng was wearing a blue sweater vest. The cold winter wind blew, making the collar of his white shirt tremble. He hugged the military coat and Bi Sheng tightly in his arms and trotted to the door of Bi's house.
In just a moment, the back of his hand was red from the cold. He took out the key from his trouser pocket to open the door and emphasized again: "Hurry up and get inside to warm up!"
By then, Liu Yafang had also finished and was finally helped to stand up by Chen Cuiliu.
Liu Yafang was vomiting and squatting, her calves were cramped, her face was lifeless, and half of her body weight was on Chen Cuiliu, and she wilted instantly.
She was supported by Chen Cuiliu and was about to enter the yard. Seeing Chu Yifeng in such a state, she said weakly:
"Wait for Auntie to slowly clean the car for you, you put it there first."
"No, no. Just give the car a good scrub and it'll be done. Are you okay, Auntie? You don't look well. Come inside, I'll be right there."
Liu Yafang was supported by Chen Cuiliu. After entering the yard, she didn't even have time to observe what the yard looked like. She turned and couldn't walk far. She went straight to Liang Xiaoxiao's room, which was closest to the gate.
Liu Yafang entered the room and fell directly onto the bed. She was completely exhausted and couldn't get up anymore. Her fingers were trembling.
She was hungry, tired, and had just vomited. She felt that if she continued to struggle for a while longer, she would be left behind in Kyoto.
Also, she would never ride in that car again even if she was beaten to death!
Hearing Chen Cuiliu repeatedly asking, "Sister Yafang, what's wrong with you? Where do you feel uncomfortable?" Liu Yafang was so angry that she couldn't help herself.
I wonder why this guy is so stupid. Why don’t you go and warm up the house and boil some water for me to drink.
"Ouch! I'm going to vomit to death." Liu Yafang said this very slowly and with great effort, and she sighed.
When Liu Yafang was about to get carsick and vomit, she was sweating all over. After getting off the car, she squatted by the wall and vomited loudly. She was shivering with cold all over and her heart was pounding.
She pointed at the stove, then pointed outside. She was worried about the boy who had vomited so much, and she was also worried about where Bi Sheng had gone.
But Chen Cuiliu simply took off her cotton shoes and climbed onto the bed. She reached out and grabbed the quilt to cover Liu Yafang. She also sat cross-legged on the side and clasped her fists together because she was so cold.
Chu Yifeng, who was outside, was only wearing a woolen vest and a shirt, and was shaking off the foot mat where Liu Yafang had just sat by the side of the car.
He shook it off twice, then opened the trunk to look for a white towel. He wrinkled his nose, held his breath, and pursed his lips. He simply wiped the passenger seat and threw the towel away.
I gritted my teeth and closed and locked the car door.
No matter what the smell in the car is, it must be that bad, otherwise you can't just leave the car at the door with its doors wide open, right?
After locking the car, Chu Yifeng quickened his pace and entered the yard. Standing at the gate, he shouted:
"Bi Sheng? Gou Dan'er? Which room are you in? Auntie, where are you?"
Bi Sheng, still wearing his military coat, stood in front of Bi Cheng's window, waved through the window grilles, and shouted, "I'm right here!"
Chu Yifeng sighed heavily in his heart, glanced at the door on the other side which was gaping, and knew that Bi Yue's mother was in that room.
He first pushed open Bi Cheng's door, and as soon as he entered the room, he frowned and said:
"This room isn't warm. Your sister and brother are both in the hospital, and the house isn't properly heated. Let's go to your uncle's room."
He thought he should take care of the child first, and as for Bi Yue's mother, he would talk about it later.
Chu Yifeng took off Bi Sheng's cotton-padded jacket and coaxed:
"Throw it away, be good. Wait a minute and your brother-in-law will buy you a new one. This one can't be washed."
"Why can't I wash it? Why can't I wash it? Why are you so troublesome? Hey, just leave it there, I'll wash it myself!" He looked like he was going to jump out of bed and grab the clothes.
Chu Yifeng glared at Bi Sheng who was standing on Bi Tielin's bed. This time he really couldn't suppress his anger and roared:
"Why are you washing it? Won't it smell if you keep it in this room? It's winter, can you open the window to let it out if there's a smell? I'll freeze it into popsicles!"
He turned around and took Bi Sheng's cotton jacket out of the house.
I feel tired.
At this moment, Chu Yifeng felt an unprecedented worry, as if he had never felt such a worry in the past twenty years.
He first went to the gatehouse and took a dustpan to fill it with a dozen pieces of honeycomb coal, then put a few pieces of burnt wood into the dustpan, and then carried the dustpan to the room where Liu Yafang was staying.
Without saying a word, he hurried back to Bi Tielin's room, glanced at Bi Sheng who was curled up in the quilt through the door curtain, picked up the thermos, took two cups of water, and returned to the room where Liu Yafang was.
Chu Yifeng really wanted to say to Liu Yafang: "Why don't you stay in the same room with Bi Shengke? I can save some trouble!"
But not only can I not say it, I have to greet people when I enter the house:
"Auntie, please wait a moment. The room will be warm in a moment. I guess there's usually no one in this room, so we're just warming it up. I'm afraid it'll take a while."
Liu Yafang sat up with great effort.
She sat on the bed and looked at Chu Yifeng, who was wearing thin clothes and squatting by the stove busying himself. To be honest, at that moment, she had a very good impression of Chu Yifeng.
He replied without much spirit:
"Just put it there. I'll be fine in two minutes. I can fix it myself!"
