Chapter 645: Very Sudden (Two-in-One Chapter)

Chu Yifeng sat on the berth and looked out the window.

The number of times I was with Bi Yue last year can be counted on ten fingers.

This year, more than half a year has passed, and this time he came home in a hurry and stayed for just two days. In total, we were together four times.

Four times, each time racing against time like a disaster rescue operation. Only the first day, finding an excuse, was a relief; the other two times... were simply horrible.

The mother-in-law is not at home, so they have to take care of the children.

Sometimes I was afraid that I would cry, and sometimes I was afraid that they would help me climb to the bed and I would fall headfirst.

It would be fine if they were smaller, and I could send them away if they were older. But the little ones who understand a little but can't walk are difficult to deal with, and I can't get my hands off them.

The key is that the children can still see it, but they can’t stay by the side of the two babies.

Bi Yue always urged with tears in her voice: "Hurry up, hurry up, or they will cry."

He was about to cry. Alas, raising two children is not easy. I have to give up everything.

Chu Yifeng clenched his fist and placed it over his chest: "It's strange. These two little brats ruined my good fortune. Why does my heart ache when I think of their heartless smiles? I never missed my child's mother to this extent before."

He is a useless father.

Amid the rumbling sound of the train, Chu Yifeng, who was dressed in casual clothes, buried his face in the pillow. He twisted his body and sat on the quilt, showing his back to the person on the opposite bed.

After one stop, he felt much better because a mother and daughter got on the lower bunk.

Chu Yifeng lay on the bunk and looked at the one below: "How old is she?"

"Tell uncle how old you are?"

"Uncle, I'm four years old. I went to see my dad, who is an engineer."

"Oh, really? Your dad must be very happy."

"My father praised me for being brave and said that if I didn't cry or make a fuss while riding the train, he would buy me dried fish and take me flying a kite."

Chu Yifeng thought this little girl was really nice. She had two pigtails and mentioned her father with pride. He seemed to see his little girl being so cute and well-behaved when she saw him.

"You really can't cry. My uncle has two babies who are braver than you. They went on a business trip with their mother when they were only four months old..."

The little girl's mother looked up in surprise and asked, "Four months?"

"Yeah. Twins, a boy and a girl." Chu Yifeng looked even more arrogant than a four-year-old girl, showing off without restraint at all: "We walked quite far, and grandma and grandpa followed us. By the time we got home, they were five months old. Now they're not shy around anyone. My wife also walked around a lot when she was pregnant with them."

The little girl's mother smiled and nodded.

No one was saying anything, but Chu Yifeng still tried to talk: "Sister, girls usually talk early, right? How old were your children when they could speak fluently? My two children were more than six months old and they kept crying."

During the rest of the trip, he would consult her whenever he thought of something, and it was no wonder that his experience in taking care of children had improved significantly. He even bought a meal for the little girl at the dining car, which showed how well he got along with her.

When they were almost there, he changed into a military uniform, and the older sister simply went to the bathroom and left her daughter to him.

Chu Yifeng said in an unusually ethereal voice beside the little girl's ear:

"Uncle misses your little brother and sister very much. Now that they have grown up, they can visit uncle too."

Xiaoxi and Xiaolong made Bi Yue cry a lot in the first few days after Chu Yifeng left.

How old are the two kids? And yet they're suffering from internal heat. They have dry stools, irritability, and restless sleep.

When grandma was feeding them complementary food, she would turn her head and push the door away. She would also lie on the edge of the bed and cry out at the door, looking for someone. When she couldn't find the children, she would cry and Bi Yue would cry too.

When grandma put diapers on them, the two babies looked very painful and couldn't do it. They often crawled all over the bed in a restless state.

Liu Yafang's workload had inexplicably increased, and she was filled with regret. She pounded her waist while washing and swearing at her son-in-law.

Bi Yue secretly wiped away her tears and complained softly, "Chu Yifeng, you are not doing good things."

She had to get up earlier than usual and follow Chu Yifeng's example to do health exercises for the two babies.

She has to take time to make cookies for the two babies.

She had to please her mother to go out with her. Her mother held one child, and she held one child. In the first few days after Chu Yifeng left, she carried the children out to play every day and was exhausted.

But the baby has already been born, so what's the problem?

Slowly, September passed.

Bi Sheng got a tan and became stronger, and he walked with a breeze to the school to report.

The two babies also forgot about their father and the happy days they had not long ago, and they became more and more accustomed to their grandmother's teaching methods.

October slowly rolled around, and the streets of Kyoto became bustling with activity. It was National Day, and Xiaoxi and the little dragon had to wear their fluffy hats again if they wanted to go out.

The Bi family’s phone rang.

Bi Yue chewed her food and glanced at the quartz clock: "Hey, why are you out so early today? Didn't you go on a mission? Well, when I asked you, you acted like you were dealing with two little thugs, so I didn't bother to ask. I'll wait until you come back with injuries. Is that your daughter or son?"

Bi Yue glanced at Xiaoxi: "Your daughter is like a little crazy. She is listening to her sister Qiang singing the little girl under the streetlight. She caught this song, and her uncle plays it every day. When she heard the song "Dear little sister, please don't cry, don't cry", she held the toys in her hands.

+ He sits there twisting and shaking his body, often getting himself confused and enjoying himself to the point of being completely dazed.

A man's deep laugh came from the other end of the line: "She takes after her father, she has musical talent. Where's my son?"

"Your son's second tooth grew today. Those two girls bit him, and his legs almost fell off. Now he's clapping for his sister. Whenever his sister jumps, he joins in the fun."
