Just as Chu Yifeng thought, Bi Yue seemed to be more capable of taking on responsibilities than Bi Cheng.
From buying train tickets to finding a bus and hiring an ox cart, Bi Yue was ahead of the distraught Bi Cheng.

Liu Yafang trotted over to the oxcart and saw her eldest daughter and son. She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand, as if she had found support. "Ni'er, your grandfather is gone. He didn't leave any words, just called out your names."
Bi Cheng ran away with big strides. He stood outside the door and shouted heartbreakingly: "Grandpa, Grandpa!" Bi Cheng was angry.
He was angry that his grandfather had endured two years of hardship, and finally things seemed to be getting better. He and his sister had put so much money home, and they could finally eat better meals every day, but why did he leave?
And the hospital? Isn't there still half a year left? How come it's gone after just one visit?!
Bi Yue's tears rolled down her cheeks. She hugged Liu Yafang tightly, "Mom, Mom." She couldn't say anything else. She raised her tearful eyes and saw her father, aunt, and...was that her uncle? She heard her aunt say, "Your grandfather wasn't watching your uncle!"
Bi Yue couldn't bear it anymore and burst into tears while looking at her uncle Bi Tielin.
The brother and sister walked through the Bi family's gate and, as per custom, knelt down, kowtowed, and cried loudly. They cried for not being able to arrive in time in a foreign land, and cried as they recalled their grandfather's words, "Study hard!"... (To be continued.)
