Chapter 2: The 9-point Girl in the End of the World

"Ah... Shit, that hurts!" Pan Han yelled, fell flat on his back, and lay on the dirt ground with his four legs in the air.

"System, are you fucking crazy? When did I say I wanted to travel through time?" Pan Han shouted at the air.

"Host, you just said, 'Fuck, awesome!' That was one of the instructions, so the time travel started immediately." The system replied.

"Is this all right? Is this the only instruction? Are there any others?" Pan Han asked.

"There are many, and the host can set them by himself. You can also silently say "I want to travel through time" three times in your mind to start it." The system replied.

"Okay, I got it. I'll study it first and then figure out how to set the time-travel command." Pan Han said unhappily.

Suddenly, a cold iron object hit the back of his head.

"Don't move, or I'll beat you to death." A woman's voice came from behind Pan Han.

There was no need to think about it, this cold, hard object must be a gun.

Pan Han knew the rules very well and slowly raised his hands to show that he had no weapons and no ill intentions.

A slender little hand began to grope Pan Han's body. It was obvious that the woman was searching him.

Pan Han was a little nervous, but he also enjoyed it because it felt good. However, he wasn't too worried because there weren't any lethal weapons.

Finally, the hand took an item from Pan Han's trouser pocket.

"How did you get this thing?" the woman asked.

"Can I turn around and see what it is?" Pan Han wondered. He didn't remember what was in his trouser pocket.

"Turn around slowly and don't do anything bad, otherwise your head will explode!" said the woman coldly.

"Hmph, even more awesome than the system." Pan Han thought to himself as he slowly turned around.

"So big! So big!" Pan Han turned around and saw a pair of impressive mountain peaks. His eyes immediately widened.

"Where are you looking?" The woman spoke coldly, showing no emotion.

Pan Han looked up and was surprised to see a beautiful woman, about 1.7 meters tall, wearing a tactical bodysuit that perfectly outlined her figure. In her hand was a pistol, the black muzzle pointed at him.

"I asked you how you got this thing?" The 9-point girl raised her hand and waved it in front of Pan Han.

Pan Han took a look and realized it was the chewing gum he had brought back from his last hot pot meal. He had put it in his pocket for so long that he had forgotten about it.

"Is this thing rare? I brought it back from eating hot pot, what's wrong with it?" Pan Han explained.

"Not only do you have chewing gum, but you're also eating hot pot?" The 9-point girl widened her eyes and looked at Pan Han with her mouth slightly open, expressing disbelief.

"How long has it been since you last ate this?" Pan Han thought to himself, in this end times, everything must be in short supply.

"Five years, a full five years!" said the girl who scored 9 points.

"Then I'll give this to you." Although Pan Han was poor, he could still afford to give chewing gum.

"Who are you? Where are you from? Why are you here?" The 9-point girl ignored Pan Han and continued to ask.

Pan Han thought, I definitely can't say I traveled through time. But he didn't know how to answer. He could only stammer and mumble, his words unclear.

"Forget it, if you don't want to talk about it, forget it. The gum belongs to me. You'd better leave here quickly. It's getting dark soon. If you don't hide, you will die." said the 9-point girl.

"I can give it to you, but you have to answer a question for me," Pan Han said.

"It makes sense, go ahead and ask! But don't ask for my personal information." said the 9-point girl.

"How long has it been since the end of the world?" Pan Han asked.

The 9-point girl looked at Pan Han as if he were an idiot, and finally laughed coldly, "Eight years."

"Okay, thank you."

Eight years after the apocalypse, what would this world look like? Pan Han wondered.

The 9-point girl ignored Pan Han and walked away in one direction.

He is full of energy and has nowhere to go.

It was 10 minutes after the 9-point girl left that Pan Han took a good look at the world.

There were ruins everywhere, withered trees, a gloomy sky, and a fishy smell in the air when the wind blew.

It is now dusk, the sun is already very dim, and visibility around is very low.

Pan Han tidied his clothes and thought, I'd better walk around first, I can go back anytime anyway.

However, he was afraid that zombies would appear, so he picked up a thick branch from the ground to prevent any accidents.

Pan Han followed the direction the 9-point woman had gone and explored forward. He thought that the woman must have a lair, so he would sneak over there after dark to take a look.

Less than 20 meters outside, Pan Han found a rotting corpse on the ground, half of the body completely rotten. A group of unknown insects were gnawing at the rotten flesh.

Pan Han had never seen such a scene before. He felt his stomach churn and something rising up his throat, and he vomited it out. He didn't even bother to wipe his mouth, and ran away with his stick in hand.

This can be considered the first lesson given to him in the end times.

After running about a hundred meters, Pan Han saw a half-collapsed small house and quickly hid inside.

The room darkened, barely making out the outlines. Pan Han, feeling a little nervous, waved his stick a few times to build up his courage. He held his breath again, listening for any further movement. Finding it relatively safe, he breathed a sigh of relief and began to explore the room.

The house wasn't big, only about 30 square meters. Judging by the decor, it must have been a small shop. Eight years later, all that remained were a few walls and some broken cabinets.

After searching for a while, he gradually adapted to the intensity of the light and could see more things.

Sure enough, the second lesson came.

A skeleton lay at his feet, almost stepping on it.

Pan Han was so frightened that he almost cried out, and instinctively hit the skeleton with a stick.

How could a skeleton that had been stored for many years withstand Pan Han's fierce hammer? It fell apart in a few hits.

However, a string of golden things fell right in front of Pan Han.

It was a gold necklace, a thick, hard kind.

"Wow, this is money for me!" Pan Han whispered.

He looked around to make sure there was no one around, then picked up the gold chain with a wooden stick and slowly handed it to his hand.

So heavy!

"It should be made of gold, right?" Pan Han thought to himself.

He didn't actually know how to distinguish gold from silver. He'd just seen on TV many gangsters with dragon tattoos and gold chains. The one in front of him looked very similar, so he figured he must have been a gangster before he died.

Pan Han wiped the chain with his clothes, exhaled again, and looked at it carefully in the dim light, feeling inexplicably excited.

"Fuck, that's awesome! I'm going to be rich!" He just shouted this and disappeared from the spot with a whoosh.

Pan Han traveled back to his shared apartment!
