Chapter 153 Unexpected Success

The above sentence was something Ji Xian imagined.

He didn't understand the language of this country, but the general meaning should be similar.

Because after that person shouted something, the situation was immediately brought under control, everyone looked at that person, and then quieted down.

Ji Xian's lips curled into a smile.

He knew that the target he was looking for had appeared.

He flashed away, and when he reappeared, he had a rocket launcher in his hand.

This is the weapon I bought with "Little Bee" back then.

He'd always wanted to use it for fun, but unfortunately he didn't have a target.

Today I finally have a goal.

To catch a thief, first catch his king; eliminate the enemy first.

Ji Xian crouched behind the bushes, aiming the rocket launcher at the rooftop where the person was standing.

"Whoosh!"

The rocket was launched.

The roof in the center.

"boom!"

The violent explosion sent the person flying.

It flipped over in mid-air like a tattered sack and crashed to the ground.

Ji Xian's shot also directly exposed his position.

Many people followed the trajectory of the rocket, looking toward the source of the launch.

Many people have noticed Ji Xian.

Ji Xian gave a wicked smile and disappeared from everyone's sight in a flash.

This is a mountainous area with many trees and bushes, providing ample cover.

Given Ji Xian's speed of movement, it would be difficult for their eyes to keep up. Ji Xian only needed to move slightly, change his position, and hide behind some obstacle, and they would not be able to find him at all.

At this moment, a commotion arose in the center of the crowd.

Everyone turned to look at the center again.

Their leader was blown off the roof, his clothes torn to shreds, covered in blood, and fell backward to the ground, still spitting out mouthfuls of blood.

At first, they didn't take it seriously because they were superstitious and believed that the leader would be fine, thinking that the leader was the incarnation of God.

However, those who were close to the cult leader soon noticed that something was wrong with him.

The invincible cult leader looks like he's about to die.

The cult leader's invincible image was shattered in their minds.

Faith crumbled in my heart.

Once the unrest starts, it quickly spreads to everyone.

Although Ji Xian couldn't understand what they were shouting, he could tell they were all panicked.

Faith collapsed, some were angry, some were afraid, chaos ensued, and most people scattered and fled.

Ji Xian felt that things were going more smoothly than he had imagined.

This force, devoid of religious faith, is nothing more than a rabble.

The bizarre explosion and the cult leader's tragic death quickly led to almost everyone fleeing.

Ji Xian emerged from behind a large tree and strode towards the house where Chavalana was being held.

The house was on the mountainside, and Ji Xian leaped up it in a few bounds.

Chavalana looked at Ji Xian with surprise.

"You've arrived!"

Ji Xian laughed and said, "That's right, I was so worried about you."

Chavalana was overjoyed at that moment.

She had sent countless emails to Ji Xian before, but received no response. She knew that Ji Xian wouldn't abandon her for no reason.

Chavalana wanted to rush out immediately to give Ji Xian a hug, but she was blocked by the iron railing.

Chavalana said, "We need to find tools to cut these iron bars."

Ji Xian smiled and said, "No need for that."

As he spoke, he grasped the two iron bars with both hands and exerted force to both sides, causing the iron bars to bend and deform, creating a gap that allowed him to walk sideways.

Chavalana looked surprised; Ji Xian was surprisingly strong.

However, I was only slightly surprised.

She could accept anything that happened to Ji Xian.

Because he is her savior, her god.

Chavalana came out of the cell and excitedly hugged Ji Xian's neck.

"I knew it, you would be the one to come and save me."

Ji Xian said, "That's not necessarily true. What if I can't get here, or I can't find you? I might not be able to save you."

“No,” Chavalana denied, “it will always be you. It’s always you when I’m in danger. It’s God’s arrangement.”

After a brief moment of tenderness with Chavarana, Ji Xian realized this was not a safe place and said, "Let's leave here quickly."

Chavalana nodded.

Ji Xian carefully helped Chavalana down the path along the edge of the mountain wall.

They soon reached the foot of the mountain.

As Ji Xian passed by the door of a large wooden house, he suddenly heard a low growl.

Ji Xian thought it was some kind of wild beast, but when he turned around, he saw a small child with a chain around his neck, chained to a pillar.

It's like having a watchdog chained up.

Ji Xian had only seen such a scene in the slave market of the post-apocalyptic world. Upon suddenly seeing this scene, he almost couldn't tell whether it was reality or another world.

Ji Xian frowned, and his long-lost sympathy welled up once again.

I couldn't help but walk over there.

Chavalana grabbed Ji Xian: "Don't go over there!"

Ji Xian asked in confusion, "Why?"

Chavalana said, "This child is crazy; he bites anyone he sees."

Ji Xian couldn't help but ask, "How could this be?"

Chavalana said, “This cult uses human sacrifices every now and then. This child witnessed his parents being killed and wanted to avenge them. He was beaten up by the people here and went crazy. He bites anyone he sees, like a dog. So they keep this child here as a dog.”

Ji Xian frowned: "He wasn't born crazy, he was harmed by someone. I must let him out."

Ignoring Chavalana's objections, Ji Xian walked over to the child.
