Ji Xian narrowed his eyes, and a smile involuntarily appeared on his lips.

"You just wait!" the slave owner said threateningly, then ran away in a sorry state.

Ji Xian laughed: "I said, if it's yours, call her and see if she answers. If she does, you can take it."
The slave owner angrily said, "How could she possibly agree to that?"
"Ha, since she won't agree, how can you say she's your slave?"
The slave owner angrily retorted, "He's just being unreasonable!"
Ji Xian was displeased and his face fell: "Please find out who is being unreasonable."
Seeing that Ji Xian was unhappy, the city garrison soldiers frowned and asked the slave owner:
“He’s absolutely right. From beginning to end, all I saw was you being unreasonable.”
"Without evidence, what makes you say that she was your slave?"
Slave owner: "Ah, this..."
"Hmph, we can tell at a glance that you're a troublemaker."
"Since you dare to falsely accuse others, you'd better come with us and go to jail!"
"Huh?" The slave owner was dumbfounded.
The city defense troops he summoned didn't help him; instead, they sided with the opposing side.
He was merely stating the facts, how did that become a false accusation?
Furthermore, even if it's a false accusation, it shouldn't warrant going to jail, right?
In this apocalyptic world, who hasn't done some shady things?
Even if it's exposed, as long as it doesn't involve human life, won't it all end hastily?

Before the slave owner could react, two city defense soldiers put a slave collar around his neck.
The slave owner let out a scream, startled, and nearly fell over.
Handcuffs have become obsolete in this world. Dealing with prisoners is similar to dealing with slaves. Put a slave collar on them, and no matter how ferocious the prisoner is, he won't dare to cause trouble.
