Chapter 176 Dissuasion

The tribes around the sea line were wailing.

These mermaids are like insatiable demons.

Always fighting and always replenishing slaves.

They seem to want to conquer all sea lines.

More and more ethnic groups migrated and fled upon hearing the news.

This news was brought by the bird-tribe orcs near the sea line. They can fly and escape faster than other races.

Some of them fled as a whole tribe, and some were survivors.

Especially the survivors, who were so frightened that they kept flying inland.

This allowed more and more orcs to know the news.

When these people from the Ape Tribe heard the news, some cried and some sighed.

The former is because relatives are still there, and the latter is to be grateful for the decision made by himself and his family.

The weather was bad that day and snowflakes were still falling outside.

Bai Yingying was about to give birth, so she did not go out.

It was warm in the living room, so she took a nap there. She was not sleeping soundly, so she woke up immediately when she heard a faint call from outside.

The house is dry and hot, so they usually leave the door farther away from the living room open to let in some air. That is, only when the door is open can sounds from outside come in.

Chi Zhen tidied her hair and said softly, "Yingying, continue to sleep. I'll go out and take a look."

"Yeah." Bai Yingying did not refuse.

She watched Chi Zhen walk out, and asked Luo Chen to help her up.

Bai Yingying walked to the door to take a look.

Outside the villa fence.

Luo Qing hurried in, "Ah Zhen, there are hundreds of fleeing orcs outside our camp. The tribe leader is about to take them in, and I want Yingying to go and stop him."

What he said was simple, but he grasped the key points, and Chi Zhen could understand it easily.

The tribe leader was kind-hearted and wanted to take in these fleeing orcs. Luo Qing disagreed, but he couldn't stop him, so he wanted to ask the more famous Bai Yingying to persuade the tribe leader.

"What?" Chi Zhen frowned. "It's freezing and snowy here. Why are these orcs still on the run instead of looking for a place to spend the winter?"

Without waiting for Luo Qing to answer, he quickly said, "I'll go with you, so don't call Ying'er."

Bai Yingying's voice came from the gate, "I'll go with you."

Chi Zhen turned around and saw Bai Yingying dressed warmly, walking out with the support of Luo Chen.

Although the snow outside the villa had been cleared, it was still quite slippery. Her huge belly made the people present tremble with fear.

Chi Zhen hesitated, "You..."

Bai Yingying interrupted him, "It's okay. I have to go check on the situation."

Chi Zhen knew that Bai Yingying would not change her decision, so he said nothing more.

He took Bai Yingying from Luo Chen's hands, "Brother Luo Chen, please help me call Ji Feng and Nong Jing out. I'll take Ying'er over first."

Ji Feng and Nong Jing were upstairs taking care of the other cubs.

The sound insulation of the western-style building is very good. The two of them are on the other side of the third floor, so even if they shout outside, no one can hear them.

"Okay." Luo Chen agreed gently, glanced at Bai Yingying, and turned to walk into the house.

There was a dull look in his lowered eyes. Whenever he had to go out and face many people, he could not be with Bai Yingying.

Chi Zhen and Luo Qing, one on each side, supported Bai Yingying and walked away quickly.

When the two were about to reach the outskirts of the camp, Ji Feng and Nong Ying finally caught up.

They could hear the noise from far away, and it was getting closer and closer to them.

Soon, several people saw a familiar figure.

Chief Luo Dahua was accompanied by a group of guards. Behind him followed a group of snow-covered orcs, their frail bodies dangling from their thick animal robes.

Especially the male orc in the lead, his face was covered with frostbite. Even though he had a flattering look on his face, the fierce light that occasionally flashed in his eyes made the experienced Bai Yingying see at a glance that this was an orc who was extremely murderous and most likely had eaten his own kind.

When Bai Yingying saw this scene, a cold light flashed in her eyes. She stood there, waiting for Luo Dahua and the others to approach.

Bai Yingying and the others were particularly conspicuous, and Luo Dahua saw them at a glance.

He immediately spoke to the people around him, asking them to stop, and walked over quickly.

Luo Dahua glanced at Luo Qing reproachfully, and said anxiously to Bai Yingying, "Yingying, you're about to give birth. How come you came out in this freezing weather?"

"Chief. Are you planning to take these people in?" Bai Yingying's voice was filled with emotion, but she did not call the chief "Daddy" as usual.

Luo Dahua didn't hear any difference and just answered truthfully: "We have enough supplies in reserve, so it's okay to help them."

Their bay crocodile tribe has been in seclusion for too long, and they are very powerful. Although the tribe leader Luo Dahua seems to have a bad temper, he is actually a relatively kind orc.

Bai Yingying said directly: "No."

"What?" Luo Dahua was shocked, thinking he had misheard. "Yingying, aren't you usually very kind?"

The two groups were actually not far apart, and with the hearing of high-level orcs, they could hear almost everything.

"That's for our own people. These are outsiders, orcs from unknown origins." Bai Yingying pointed at them and said rudely, "Expel them!"

Luo Dahua's expression changed, and he quickly pulled at Bai Yingying's sleeve, whispering, "It's not that I'm really that kind, it's just that they've come to rely on us, and I'm worried they might do something bad, so I have to help. I won't bring them into our camp. I plan to place them in the far north and have the apes build them some sheltered huts."

The camp is at the northernmost end, farthest from the dormitory and western-style buildings, and there are trees over there that completely block the view from this side. As long as they don't pass through, they won't notice the strange buildings in the camp.

Bai Yingying looked at those people secretly, and showed hesitation on her face when she listened to Luo Dahua.

Luo Dahua continued in a low voice: "They are numerous and in dire straits. If a fight really breaks out, we will definitely suffer a lot of losses."

"Winter will be over in another month. We have sufficient supplies stored. Why not give them some aid so that we can all get through this winter smoothly together?"

He had originally intended to expel these people, but after careful observation, he realized there were about two hundred of them, all with different beast forms and all quite powerful.

It is obvious that the orcs are not of the same race. It is very likely that they met on the migration route.

Migrating in winter is almost seeking death. The only ones who will travel together are probably these orcs with good strength.
