Chapter 556 Wan'er's Friend

"Let's start teaching you after you finish eating. How about we start with math?" Yang Yun said, taking care of Sheng Xia while also worrying about Sheng Wan's studies.

Upon hearing this, Sheng Wan felt like crying but had no tears left. She blinked her clear, big eyes and turned to look at Sheng Xia for help.

"Mom~"

She didn't want to go to class. The teacher's explanations were too simple; she already knew everything and didn't want to waste any more time.

I'd rather come back and talk to my mother!

Her friend had the same idea, so she brought her friend back without telling her in advance. I hope her mother won't be angry.

If Mom isn't angry, Dad certainly won't be angry either.

Shengxia, unaware of her thoughts, smiled indulgently, patted her fluffy little head, and turned to look at Yangyun.

"Little lamb, let Wan'er rest for now, no class for now." Seeing him lower his eyes as if to reflect, Sheng Xia quickly explained, "It's not that I think you're a bad teacher, but we can't force the little one to listen to the lesson if he doesn't want to."

"Okay." He understood. Xia Xia was afraid he wouldn't understand, so she explained it to him. She really loved herself to death.

He will love her even more!

In the blink of an eye, a smile gradually spread across Yang Yun's lips. He had successfully won her over, and was filled with love and joy.

Yang Yun listened to everything Sheng Xia said.

As they spoke, the pink backpack on the sofa trembled every now and then.

Several males glanced at the pink backpack on the sofa, then immediately stopped moving. They exchanged smiles and went about their business.

That was brought back by Zai Zai. No matter what's inside, Wan'er can't just do with it without her permission.

Although they sensed the unfamiliar presence the moment the child entered the room.

"Mom, I also brought a friend back!"

Seeing that her mother and father didn't seem angry, Sheng Wan smiled sweetly, turned into a rabbit, jumped to the side, and landed on Sheng Xia's lap.

Shengxia quickly caught her, pulled her into her arms, lowered her eyes slightly, and skillfully stroked her fur, gently stroking from the back of her neck to her tailbone, looking at her with loving eyes and saying with a soft smile.

Where is your friend?

Wan'er wouldn't lie; if she said that, she must have brought it back. Where are her friends?

This is the first time my son has brought a friend home, so we need to treat him well. I wonder if he will like hot pot?

In the height of summer, her almond-shaped eyes sparkled as she looked out expectantly, watching the trees being blown to one side by the wind.

Sitting inside the house, she could almost feel the howling wind outside.

During the heavy snow season, it's impossible to be outside.

There were no orcs anywhere else...

Surely he wouldn't have put it in his pocket, would he?

The next second, Sheng Wan slid off her lap, hopped onto the sofa, transformed into human form, picked up her schoolbag, and reached inside to rummage around.

She whispered comforting words, "Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, my mom and dad are both very well."

Sheng Xia stared intently at Sheng Wan with her bright almond-shaped eyes, curiously peering inside. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw Sheng Wan's hand reach into her schoolbag.

What kind of friend is so young?

Suddenly, his pupils dilated violently as he thought of something.

She bit her lower lip, her mind screaming, "Beast God! Could it be a cockroach or some kind of insect?! No way!"

The little one doesn't know fear and sometimes plays with bugs... It's not impossible for him to bring bugs home as friends.

Thinking of the caterpillar gift from last time, Sheng Xia felt a chill run down her spine and shuddered.

"What's wrong? Are you cold?" Wolf King opened the door and walked in.

Upon hearing the sound, Sheng Xia looked over and her almond-shaped eyes lit up.

"Wolf King~ You're back."

A silver-haired male dressed in gray animal skin walked towards them with a gentle smile on his lips, the love in his eyes clearly visible.

A gentleman is upright and gentle, like jade.

So cool!

Wolf King paused, his gaze warily fixed on the sofa. The bag fell silent instantly, the rustling sounds ceasing.

He then turned and walked to Shengxia's side, bent down and touched Shengxia's cheek, and asked again.

"Is Xiaxia cold?"

The warm, smooth touch was so inviting that he didn't want to take it off. Wolf King's eyes darkened as he lovingly caressed it with his palm.

Shengxia smiled and tilted her head back, kissing Wolf King's palm lightly before playfully returning her face to his.

"I'm not cold. How about you? Aren't you cold wearing only an animal skin skirt?"

She looks cold.

The smile on her face vanished when she saw the wound on his shoulder and neck; she frowned, turned her head away, and looked worried.

"You were injured, why didn't you say so?" She spoke with a mixture of reproach and heartache, raising her hand to gently cover his shoulder, her green leaves unfurling.

"It's just a little scratch, it'll be fine tomorrow," Wolf King said gently, his tone full of doting affection.

Looking down at her earnest little face, he felt he couldn't love her enough, and couldn't help but lower his head and kiss her forehead.

In the height of summer, she let him kiss her, releasing his healing power.

Upon hearing her mother's words, Sheng Wan disregarded everything else and ran over, looking up at her with concern.

A white shadow flashed at the opening of the backpack and then disappeared.

No one noticed the sofa; everyone was captivated by the height of summer.

Two females, one large and one small, with identical eyes and the same concerned and distressed expressions, made the hearts of the males in the room melt completely.

Wolf King, in particular, was so happy he was almost dizzy.

That's great.

Until a soft green light enveloped his shoulder, the wound visibly healed, and the flesh-colored scar disappeared without a trace.

"Wow, Mom is amazing!" Wan'er exclaimed.

Sheng Xia's almond-shaped eyes curved into a smile as she looked down at Sheng Wan, picked her up, and chuckled gently.

"Didn't Wan'er want us to see your friend?"

"Yes! Mimi is still in her schoolbag! I'll go check." I don't want her to get bored.
