Chapter 338: The Kids Fight

Chapter 338: The Kids Fight

Mia held Xia Yueke's hand tightly, "Keke, no matter what happens, I will always support you. You will always be my best friend."

Xia Yueke nodded, her eyes full of gratitude, "Thank you, Mia. I really feel lucky to have a friend like you."

The two smiled at each other, as if returning to those carefree days in the past. Under the moonlight, their figures looked particularly warm.

"By the way, Coco," Mia suddenly remembered something and a mischievous smile appeared on her face, "What's going on between you and those guys? They all seem to care about you."

Xia Yueke blushed slightly and shook her head helplessly, "Well, it's a long story. Actually, they are all friends I met outside. Although they are a little noisy sometimes, they are all very good people."

Mia blinked and asked curiously, "Then...is there any special relationship between you and them?"

Xia Yueke tapped Mia's forehead gently. "You're still so gossipy. But I can tell you that they are all very important people to me. As for the others... let's talk about it later."

Mia stuck out her tongue and said, "Okay, I won't ask anymore. But, Coco, you must be happy. No matter who you are with, I will support you."

Xia Yueke felt warm in her heart and hugged Mia gently, "Thank you, Mia. I really feel at ease with you around."

Xia Yueke and Mia were chatting happily when they suddenly heard a noise coming from a distance.

The two looked up and saw two small figures stumbling towards them, followed by several cubs of the same age, shouting something.

"Mother beast! Mother beast!"

An An and Dun Dun ran and shouted, their voices filled with grievance and anger.

Xia Yueke and Mia looked at each other and immediately stood up to greet him.

An An and Dun Dun ran up to them. There were a few shallow scratches on their faces and arms, and their clothes were covered in mud. They looked miserable.

"What's wrong?" Xia Yueke squatted down and gently touched An An's head, his eyes full of concern.

An An sobbed and said, "Mother beast, they bullied us! They said we are outsiders and don't deserve to play here!"

Dun Dun added angrily, "They even pushed us, saying we were stealing their territory!"

Mia frowned and looked at the cubs following behind.

Those little guys were obviously feeling a little guilty. They stood not far away and didn't dare to get close, but they still had an expression of unwillingness on their faces.

"You guys, come here!" Mia's voice was a little harsh.

The cubs looked at each other and walked over reluctantly.

One of the braver cubs looked up and muttered, "They took our toys first!"

"No!"

An An immediately retorted, "We found it, but they insisted on saying it was theirs!"

Dun Dun also waved his little fist, "They even called us idiots!"

Xia Yueke's face darkened instantly. She stood up, her eyes sweeping over the cubs, her tone calm yet filled with unquestionable authority:

"Who taught you to talk like that?"

The cubs were frightened by her aura and shrank their necks, not daring to say a word.

At this time, the mothers of the cubs rushed over aggressively.

The leading female fox was named Lina. She was tall and had a look of arrogance between her eyebrows.

She put her hands on her hips and said in a sharp and piercing voice, "What's going on? How did my kid get into this state?"

When she saw the scratches on her child's face, she immediately screamed, "Who did this? This is outrageous!"

Mia gave her a cold look and said, "Your kid was the first to curse, and you're still saying that to them. Did you teach him that?"

When Lina heard this, her eyes widened and her voice rose a few notches:

"Don't spit bloody words at me! How could my kid say that? It must have been these two brats who started it first, and then my kid resisted!"

Xia Yueke said calmly, "The kids are all here, why not let them explain it themselves?"

Under the gaze of the mothers, the cubs hesitated for a moment, and finally admitted in a low voice:

"We were the first to curse... but we didn't mean to. We were just mad at them for taking our toys."

Xia Yueke sighed, squatted down and said to the cubs:

"It doesn't matter whose toys they are. What's important is that you don't curse or fight over trivial matters. We are all members of the tribe and should help each other, not hurt each other."

The cubs lowered their heads and whispered, "I'm sorry..."

Xia Yueke looked at An An and Dun Dun again, "You are also wrong. Since you found the toy, you should first ask who it belongs to instead of just taking it for yourself. Also, if you encounter a problem, you should ask an adult to solve it instead of fighting."

An An and Dun Dun also lowered their heads and whispered:

"Mother beast, we know we were wrong..."

Mia softened her tone upon seeing this. "Alright, now that everyone has acknowledged their mistakes, let's shake hands and make peace. We must get along well from now on, okay?"

The cubs looked at each other, finally stretched out their hands, shook hands, and smiled.

But Lina refused to give in and continued to scream:

"Humph, my kid suffered such a huge loss, and you're just going to let it go like this? You outsiders, do you really think you're such big shots?"

She glanced at Xia Yueke and Mia, finally landing on Qian Jingyao. A sarcastic smile curled her lips. "Hey, isn't this our young clan leader who abandoned his people and walked away? How come you've come back now? And brought a bunch of outsiders with you to show off your power?"

Qian Jingyao's face turned pale instantly, his fists clenched tightly, his knuckles turning white. He opened his mouth, but no words came out.

Xia Yueke frowned and spoke in a cold tone:

"Lina, please speak with respect. It's not your place to judge Qian Jingyao's affairs."

Lina sneered, her voice sharp and piercing:

"Respect? Does he deserve it? How can a young clan leader who abandoned his people deserve my respect? You guys are just relying on your numbers!"

When Luo Cihe heard this, his eyes turned cold. He stepped forward and stood in front of Qian Jingyao, his voice low and dangerous:

"If you dare say another word, I won't mind letting you experience what true 'strength in numbers' means."

Lang Ce also stood up, his tail exploded, and he growled with his teeth bared:

"That's right! If you dare to talk nonsense again, I will scratch your mouth with my claws!"

Lina took a step back intimidated by their momentum, but quickly straightened her back and screamed:

"What? You want to fight? Come on! I want to see if you outsiders dare to act wildly here!"
