Chapter 458: The Flame Demon Arrives (18)

Chapter 458: The Flame Demon Arrives (18)

Bai Jinglan, Xia Yuke and their teams settled down separately.

After waiting for about two or three days, other orcs and players began to arrive from the outskirts of the polar bear tribe.

The orcs shed tears when they saw their own kind and this last piece of pure land.

"Hey, Chief, I don't know what kind of creature came from out there. It's so powerful that it destroyed our tribe, which we've built for hundreds of years, and the Beast City in an instant..."

"There are only so few orcs left now. Is our tribe going to be extinct?"

"Wow, wow, we don't want to die. Those things only attack living things and burn everything they see. I'm afraid they'll turn around and chase us. Every time we encounter them, we have to sacrifice an orc to hold them back. What should we do in the long run..."

There were orcs' cries and howls everywhere, and some players pretended to be orcs and shouted a few times, which made it quite lively.

There looked to be hundreds or even thousands of orcs and players.

Bai Jinglan and Xia Yueke were watching from a distance. Bai Jinglan raised an eyebrow and said, "It seems that besides these people, there are also those who fled to Antarctica. I'm afraid that all the other players and orcs are dead."

Xia Yuke also had a feeling about what was going on. After all, they didn't know where else to go. Maybe it was really burned out.

Several people stood near the glacier. Was the throat injury caused by fallen ice? Cangwu behind Xia Yueke handed over a few fruits and said, "Boss, eat something to quench your thirst."

Cangwu and Afu have been very busy these days, either thinking about what to eat or what to play, with no intention of surviving at all. Xia Yuke even deliberately pushed Cangwu into the river, hoping that he couldn't swim and would drown, but who knew that this guy actually came back after a few splashes.

He asked her innocently if he had done something wrong, so Xia Yueke planned to teach him a lesson personally to vent his anger, and asked her if she felt relieved.

Xia Yuke was so angry that she ignored him.

Just as Xia Yueke and others were taking a short rest in the polar bear tribe, a strange vibration suddenly came from deep in the tribe, as if it was a roar coming from the depths of the earth.

The polar bear leader's expression changed drastically. He hurriedly gathered everyone together, his face filled with panic: "Oh no! Could it be that the Fire Demon is chasing us?"

Xia Yueke also became nervous. She could feel a dangerous atmosphere in the air. This was more difficult than any situation she had encountered before.

At this moment, a young polar bear orc ran over in a panic and reported loudly:

"Chief, some strange footprints were found on the edge of the glacier!"

The chief frowned and thought for a moment before saying, "Whatever it is, we can't just sit there and wait for death. Some of you will go reinforce the tribe's defenses, and the rest will follow me to check out the situation!"

Bai Jinglan and Xia Yueke exchanged a glance, each seeing determination in the other's eyes. They decided to follow the tribe leader to the edge of the glacier to investigate. When they arrived, the scene before them made everyone gasp.

I saw huge footprints as big as a round table. The grass around the footprints was melted by an unknown force, emitting strange heat.

"What left these footprints?"

A player muttered quietly. Before anyone could react, a huge crack suddenly appeared in the distant glacier, and a gigantic monster slowly crawled out from it.

The thing covered in flames must be a fire demon, but this fire demon is even bigger than the last time I saw it, as big as a truck, and on its claws are other small fire demons, which are now unable to move at all in its hands.

Then the huge monster started eating as if no one was around, chewing the flesh of the fire demon in its mouth.

And the fire demon that was so arrogant in the eyes of the orcs was actually devoured.

It seems that the Flame Demon has evolved!

After he finally ate the weak fire demon in his hand, he slowly turned his gaze to the crowd, with a light in his eyes and a bloody mouth.

"Run!"

Someone exclaimed, and the crowd began to disperse, some heading into the forest, and some running towards the glacier.

Xia Yueke was also dragged by Cangwu and ran to an unknown direction. Xia Yueke was panting as he ran, "What's wrong with this guy? The rules don't mention an extra creature!"

"You don't know this, do you? Games often do this kind of thing. I see you weaklings. This is the first time I've seen this happen. I've been through several games!"

Bai Jinglan's voice came from behind in a neutral tone.

Xia Yueke was shocked and turned around: "Why did you follow us here? Why didn't you run away by yourself?"

Bai Jinglan looked at her with piercing eyes, "What do you think? Little Boss, how can you survive without following me?"

Damn, why did Bai Jinglan still think that she was the mastermind behind the game!

"Bai Jinglan, I've already told you, I'm not the one, so why don't you believe me? And even if you follow me, I don't know where the exit is. What if we accidentally run right into that monster's gun!"

Xia Yueke just felt a surge of anger in her stomach, but she couldn't vent it, because her resurrection was real!

But she was so unlucky that she was matched with Bai Jinglan. Xia Yue had no experience at all to deal with him, and now she was about to be in danger!

The current situation is that Cangwu and Xia Yueke are running forward bravely, while Bai Jinglan follows like a little follower, and from time to time he asks Xia Yueke to use his special moves quickly to eliminate the monster in the game.

The three of them ran to the vicinity of the glacier. Xia Yueke was hesitating whether to run inside to hide, but thinking of the size of the giant monster behind them, even if they ran in, they could only hide for half a minute. The glaciers would probably be destroyed by the giant monster, and then they would fall into the icy water.

There were many other players nearby who followed them here. Some of them couldn't wait to leave them behind and ran onto the glacier.

Unfortunately, the big monster actually followed and wanted to pounce on them. Cangwu immediately jumped onto the glacier with Xia Yueke, and Bai Jinglan also flipped over and jumped up.

The players and orcs who had not yet reached the glacier were no match for the giant monster and were devoured in just two or three blows, leaving only their skulls tossed aside by the monster.

Xia Yueke looked at the monster getting closer and closer, his face pale, and he shouted in fear, "Where is this orc prophet? Why hasn't he come out yet? Didn't they say this monster has a weakness? What exactly is your weakness?"

The orcs hiding in the background heard the narration and gave them a strange look. "Our orc prophet died a long time ago, torn to pieces by the fire demon. We informed all the tribes of this long ago. How come you still don't know?"

Xia Yueke widened her eyes and exclaimed, "What, he died a long time ago?"
