Ning Zhihuan spoke so softly that Xiao Yuchi only heard the last half of the sentence. He frowned and retorted, "You won't die. You definitely won't die."
Ning Zhihuan didn't say anything, just smiled bitterly.
Seeing this, Xiao Yuchi wanted to say something else when he heard hurried footsteps downstairs.
They were not stupid enough to think that it was An Mao who came to find them.
I think it’s those people.
The footsteps were getting closer and closer, from downstairs to upstairs, and judging by the sound, they were not far from the warehouse.
There were sounds of communication coming from outside, like cursing, but it was not Chinese.
"Aren't they Chinese?" Ning Zhihuan asked in a low voice with a frown.
Xiao Yuchi stared at the warehouse door intently. "Yes, I should be thankful that I'm in China. That's why they don't dare to use guns."
Ning Zhihuan was shocked when he heard this, and he couldn't help feeling distressed when he saw Xiao Yuchi saying these words so calmly.
She wanted to speak out to comfort them, but those people didn't give her the chance.
The door of the warehouse was finally opened...
As the light came in, several Japanese came in with daggers, searching.
Xiao Yuchi clenched his fists, veins bulging.
Ning Zhihuan was standing next to him, his heart about to jump out of his chest.
Every footstep seemed to be stepping on her heart.
Seeing that those people were about to search over, Xiao Yuchi wanted to stand up.
"Don't go out. You still haven't paid me back."
Ning Zhihuan pulled him and admitted for the first time that he owed her, but it was to prevent him from going out.
Xiao Yuchi didn't say anything.
Ning Zhihuan knew him well; he wasn't someone who could be easily persuaded. Once he made up his mind, he wouldn't give it up easily.
He might be thinking about how to rush out and drag away these four vicious and well-trained men who are determined to kill him.
She had no choice but to hold Xiao Yuchi's hand tightly.
The delicate touch of her hand stirred Xiao Yuchi's heartstrings.
He removed his hand without leaving a trace, and said in a low voice, "When did I say I was leaving? I haven't lived enough."
He still had that arrogant and asking-for-a-beating look, and Ning Zhihuan believed it a little.
But he still stared at Xiao Yuchi, afraid that he would do something.
Seeing Xiao Yuchi about to move, she rushed forward and hugged his arm.
This time, the opponent was obviously well prepared and wanted to kill with one blow, and he had the advantage of time and place. If it weren't for Ning Zhihuan's golden finger, it would be unknown whether Xiao Yuchi would still be alive.
So she would never let Xiao Yuchi go out to die.
At this moment, he completely forgot about his situation and just felt that he could not and should not go out.
But Xiao Yuchi was faster, dodged it, and punched the Japanese who was about to search their hiding place.
The Japanese was enraged and cursed something.
The other three people surrounded him.
Xiao Yuchi rushed out, led everyone away, and created a safe environment for Ning Zhihuan to escape.
Although a few people noticed that one person was missing, they did not take it to heart.
One reason was that this boy was the one they were targeting, and the other was that they felt that the little girl couldn't cause any trouble.
They had obviously forgotten that Ning Zhihuan had taken Xiao Yuchi away from their encirclement.
The five of them fought on the rooftop. Xiao Yuchi recovered some of his strength, but because of the injuries on his body, he was not in peak condition.
The four opponents chased all the way here before they found this place, so their physical strength must be much weaker, but after all, two circles are no match for four hands, and Xiao Yuchi was quickly suppressed.
There were cuts and blood everywhere on his face and body.
Two of them fought with their bare hands without daggers, because one of them had his dagger taken away by Xiao Yuchi, who was now bloodthirsty.
The other man's dagger was firmly stuck in Xiao Yuchi's arm.
Ning Zhihuan was watching the fight not far away and was almost crying.
But she couldn't cry or go forward to help.
The most important thing now is how to let An Mao find them.
She looked around and found a small garden next to the warehouse, which should have been built by the owner of the warehouse.
She had an idea and moved out many pots of flowers.
Then, she smashed them down one by one, reminding pedestrians to be careful while smashing them.
In the end, she didn't know how many flower pots she had smashed, she just kept lifting and dropping them like a machine.
She didn't dare to stop or look at Xiao Yuchi, and kept doing this over and over again.
She didn't breathe a sigh of relief until she saw An Mao and his men running up from a distance.
The people brought by An Mao controlled several men in black. Xiao Yuchi said Ning Zhihuan and then fainted.
When I woke up again, I was already in the manor.
"How is Ning Zhihuan?" Xiao Yuchi asked the first question.
An Mao glanced at Ning Zhihuan who was standing beside him and said, "Miss Ning is fine. She's right next to you."
Only then did Xiao Yuchi turn his head to look at Ning Zhihuan, his face slightly red.
An Mao then knelt on one knee and said, "Forgive me for my incompetence and for causing you harm."
Xiao Yuchi reached out to help him up, but Ning Zhihuan was one step ahead of him.
"Uncle An, Xiao Yuchi still has injuries on his hands. Aren't you making things difficult for him?"
An Mao scratched his head a little embarrassedly, like a child who had done something wrong.
Ning Zhihuan saw it and just found it funny.
This housekeeper An, who is so powerful outside, has such an interesting side.
It's really rare.
"Is it someone from over there?" Xiao Yuchi asked.
An Mao looked troubled. "Just like last time, he hid poison in his mouth, and when he saw he couldn't escape, he took the poison and committed suicide."
