Chapter 154 Which dormitory doesn’t have annoying people?

Reporting on this day,

The nanny tried hard to get Xu Mengyao and Xiaomei to go out.

"Miss, let me accompany you. We need to clean the dormitory and make the beds. What are you two little girls going to do with so many things?"

Wu Ma and Chen Chen's nanny are from the same family, native Haicheng people. They have always worked for wealthy families. They are careful and enthusiastic in their work. At this moment, they are looking at them with worried eyes.

"It's okay, Aunt Wu. We can handle these things ourselves. You just need to take care of the ginkgo tree at home." Xu Mengyao said with a smile.

"I know. Be careful on the road. Have Xiao Zhang drive the car to the dormitory building. The things are quite heavy." Aunt Wu still gave a worried reminder.

After arriving at the school and completing the admissions paperwork, Uncle Zhang drove them to the dormitories. Luckily, the dormitories for the two majors were not far from each other, separated by only one building. Even more fortunately, Xu Mengyao's dorm was on the first floor, while Xiaomei had to climb four flights every day.

When the car stopped downstairs of Xu Mengyao's dormitory, Uncle Zhang took out the luggage and prepared to take it in, but Xu Mengyao politely declined.

"No need, Uncle Zhang. I'm on the first floor, just a few steps away. You should accompany Xiaomei to put her things away. She lives on the fourth floor and it would be difficult for her to move things."

Xiaomei quickly said, "I can go in with you to make your bed first, and then we can go to my place."

Xu Mengyao waved her hand: "Don't bother, we were delayed for half a day just now by queuing up to register. Let's pack up early and go home for dinner. We'll see if there's anything we need and go shopping this afternoon."

After saying that, she walked into the dormitory building carrying her big cloth bag.

I found my room number. The door to the dormitory was open. A girl was bending over to make her bed. When she heard footsteps, she came over and greeted me enthusiastically:

"Hello, classmate. My name is Zhang Shufen, and I'm from Henan Province."

Xu Mengyao responded with a smile: "Hello, I'm Huang Wenjuan, from Anhui Province."

Before she finished speaking, a hand suddenly reached out from the side and held her hand tightly.

"I'm from Anhui Province too. Fellow countrymen, tears well up in our eyes when we meet! My name is Han Liyun."

Xu Mengyao was very happy to find someone from Anhui Province in the dormitory.

As the three of them were talking,

A soft grumble came from the lower bunk by the window: "There are so many people from outside this dormitory."

Xu Mengyao looked in the direction of the voice and saw a girl in a light blue dress sitting sideways on the bed, holding a book in her hands.

Seeing this, Han Liyun whispered, "Her name is Li Yan, and she's from Hai City."

Xu Mengyao smiled without saying anything, put down her luggage, and began to look around.

Facing the door was the only long table in the room. Four bunk beds were placed against the wall. There was a shelf for the washbasin by the door and a few simple benches. Apart from that, there was no other extra furniture.

When you walk to the window, you can see the hanging clothes rack.

"This position is so good, why didn't you two choose it?"

Xu Mengyao looked at Zhang Shufen and Han Liyun with some surprise, and asked, pointing to the other lower bunk by the window.

Han Liyun smiled, revealing two dimples, "I have liked climbing high since I was a child. I want to sleep on the upper bunk."

Zhang Shufen explained somewhat sheepishly, "I'm on night duty, so I'd rather be closer to the door so I can go to the bathroom. Do you want to sleep here? We'll help you clean up."

As she spoke, she picked up the rag she had just washed and took the initiative to help wipe the bed board.

Xu Mengyao quickly took the rag from her hand and said, "I'll do it. I'll do it myself. Thank you."

Zhang Shufen reminded her, "Clean the bed board and let it air dry before laying the straw mat, otherwise it will get damp and moldy."

After cleaning the bed, the three of them gathered together to chat. Zhang Shufen's hometown was surprisingly right next to Huanshi, which immediately made the two of them feel closer. Not long after, Xiaomei also came over.

"Xiaomei, why are you here so late? Didn't you chat with your roommate?"

"I was afraid you would be hungry, so I came after I packed up." Xiaomei replied.

Hearing the two people talking in dialect, Zhang Shufen immediately joined in.

Han Liyun also spoke in the Henan dialect, "I can understand your dialect clearly, so is it possible that you can understand what I'm saying?"

"Hahaha, of course. Our dialects are the official language of the Central Plains. Most people can understand them."

Xu Mengyao smiled and said that the atmosphere in the whole dormitory became more harmonious.

At this moment, Li Yan, who was standing opposite, suddenly stood up and said in Haicheng dialect:

"A bunch of country bumpkins, making so much noise."

She glanced at everyone with obvious disdain in her tone.

"What did she say?" Zhang Shufen asked cautiously.

"Someone wants to show off her superiority. It's okay. Every dormitory has annoying people." Xu Mengyao shrugged indifferently.

Li Yan has been acting like a local with a sense of superiority since she came in. She is even more excited when they ignore her. Whether she thinks they don't understand Haicheng dialect or is deliberately provoking her, Xu Mengyao can't tolerate her.

Li Yan was stunned. She obviously didn't expect the other party to understand her and hit back at her with such straightforward words.

She glanced at the four people opposite her and muttered to herself: I am outnumbered and it is better not to bother with them for now.

So she twisted her waist, snorted, and walked out with her high heels clicking.

But he ran into a family of three at the door.

A woman with curly hair and a bag in her hand immediately shouted:

"Oh my, little girl, you're walking without paying attention. You're going to hit someone to death with such force."

There was a hint of sharpness in her tone, full of dissatisfaction with this sudden incident. Then she glanced at the dormitory environment with disdain.
