Chapter 160 Tell my mother that I am not a coward

The two went out together and came to a nearby supermarket.

After Xiaomei finished shopping, they returned to school.

"I'll go back to the dormitory to put my things down and then go eat with you." Xiaomei said as she walked, carrying the shopping bags.

Xu Mengyao returned to the dormitory and saw Li Yan and Zhou Zhou still lying on their beds.

Then he called out, "Why are you two the only ones in the dormitory? Are you going to eat?"

Li Yan closed the book in her hand.

"Baozhu has gone home, and the eldest, second, and third children have all gone to the library."

Zhou Zhou climbed down from the upper bunk and stretched himself.

Said: "Let's go eat. Where's Xiaomei?"

"She also went back to the dormitory to put her things. We will wait for her downstairs later." Xu Mengyao replied.

The three of them went downstairs and waited for a while. They waited for the first, second and third people in the dormitory to come back, but Xiaomei was the only one missing.

Xu Mengyao was a little worried and said, "Something is wrong. I'll go upstairs and take a look."

Zhou Zhou pulled Li Yan to follow,

"We haven't done anything in the dormitory all day, so I'll go with you. Sister Yun, please wait for us downstairs."

As the three of them climbed to the fourth floor, they heard a commotion. Xiaomei's dormitory door was already crowded with people, and only Xiaomei's voice could be heard, sounding particularly firm in the argument.

"Let me go! Even if you stop me from leaving today, I will still report you tomorrow!"

Xu Mengyao quickly pushed her way through the crowd and saw Xiaomei wrestling with three girls on the ground. One of them was riding on her, trying to pin her down.

The other people in the dormitory just watched from the side, giving a few lukewarm words of advice without any intention of trying to stop the fight.

Xu Mengyao didn't hesitate and kicked away the person who was suppressing Xiaomei.

Li Yan took the lunch box and hit the attacker closest to her with a cap. The aluminum lunch box made a "clang" sound, and the man screamed in pain and squatted on the ground with his head in his hands.

Zhou Zhou and Xu Mengyao quickly stepped forward, pulled Xiaomei out of the chaos, and protected her behind them.

"Who are you? How dare you hit someone? This is our dormitory's business, and it's not the place for outsiders to interfere."

A girl who seemed to be trying to stop the fight stood up with obvious hostility in her eyes.

"Get lost, outsider. I'm Zhang Xiaomei's family member. Were you blind when they were three against one? Why are you standing out and pretending to be so arrogant now?" Xu Mengyao's eyes were like knives, and the anger in her words was not concealed at all.

"Sister, don't waste time talking to them. There are only four of them." The woman who was hit by the lunch box had a fierce gleam in her eyes as she stared at Li Yan viciously.

The tense atmosphere was about to break out, and Zhou Zhou suddenly turned around and ran out.

"Hahaha, I scared someone away!" The woman gloated as she heard Zhou Zhou's heartbreaking cry from the corridor: "Sister Yun, Sister Fen, come up quickly, we're being besieged."

This shout made the three people waiting downstairs feel nervous and they rushed upstairs without hesitation.

The echo in the stairwell was accompanied by their hurried footsteps. Zhou Zhou breathed a sigh of relief when she heard the three of them going upstairs. She quickly ran back to Xiaomei's dormitory. Several people in the room were still stunned by her shouting.

Zhou Zhou quickly glanced at the people opposite him, aimed at the slightly thinner one in front, and kicked him hard, imitating Xu Mengyao's behavior.

The kick hit the target right in the face. The girl screamed in pain and took a few steps back, bumping into the classmate behind her, making the already small dormitory even more crowded.

Xu Mengyao and Li Yan reacted quickly, picked up the washbasins and pressed them against the people opposite them, squeezing the last few people into the gap between the bed and the big table, making it impossible for them to escape easily.

As soon as Wang Guiyun, Han Liyun and Zhang Shufen came in, they joined the melee without any hesitation.

It wasn't until the dorm auntie finally arrived that she finally separated the two groups. Her face was ashen and her tone was stern: "What are you doing! Stand still! No one is allowed to move!"

The matter was then brought to the attention of the homeroom teacher. Two groups of people stood in a small conference room, with two teachers sitting opposite them.

An older female teacher angrily said, "How could you girls fight in a group? This has never happened to the male students and has had such a serious and negative impact! This must be dealt with seriously."

Teacher Luo from their department drank his tea slowly before speaking slowly, "Teacher Lin is right. This is the first time a fight has occurred between our two departments. Now that it has happened, can you all tell me what it was about?"

Someone across from me immediately spoke up. "I'm the head of Room 405, Department of Management. Today, Zhang Xiaomei came back to the dorm and had an argument with her roommate. We were trying to mediate when someone from the Economics Department came over and started beating her up."

"You're talking nonsense!" Xiaomei said indignantly. "They were the three of them who were caught stealing my things and got so angry that Huang Wenjuan and the others came looking for me and saw me being bullied, so they stepped forward to stop me. But then you ganged up on me and tried to beat me up, so they fought back."

The others immediately started arguing, and the scene fell into chaos again.

Teacher Lin slammed the table and said sternly, "Be quiet! What are you talking about? You're treating it like you're buying vegetables at the market!"

Teacher Luo took out a stack of letter paper and a bunch of pencils and said calmly, "Come here, each of you, get two sheets. Write down everything from beginning to end. No whispering or communication allowed. Write now. Sit cross-legged between the two dormitories."

The conference room suddenly became quiet, and everyone had a different expression.

I have to say that Mr. Luo’s method is indeed simple and effective.

Han Liyun, Wang Guiyun and Zhang Shufen were the first to hand in their papers. After all, they only participated in the last few minutes and had nothing to write about.
