Mu Ruanruan had heard before that drunkenness could cause memory loss, and she had anticipated that she might encounter the same situation today.
She had actually made some preparations before drinking last night, such as having a splitting headache when she woke up in the morning, which she thought was expected, but she didn't expect that she would have a dream when she was drunk.

I found her in a small alley. It was one of those primitive rental houses with electric wires tangled together like a spider web, and a damp and narrow path leading to it underneath.

"Let's eat something first."
Mu Ruanruan called the waiter over and ordered a bowl of mutton noodles for Qiu Mei, and only asked for a bowl of mutton soup for herself.
The two of them ate and chatted.
"When did you come to Kyoto?"
"I came here after leaving the textile factory."

Mu Ruanruan went to find that friend, but the manager said that the friend had taken leave.
The next morning, she came to ask again, but the friend was still not there.
The flight ticket was booked for noon that day, so Mu Ruanruan had no choice but to follow Ruan Erning and Qi Hui back to Lancheng.
Soon, she forgot the incident as if it were a dream.
Ruan Daning didn't come back throughout the summer vacation. Qi Juan was also depressed. She and Mu Ruanruan stayed together every day and didn't talk much to each other, which made Mu Mingda and Ye Qian think that something had happened.
It was not until Ruan Zaiqing asked them to come over and grow vegetables and flowers with him, enriching their lives, that the two of them began to smile.
Just like that, school started again and the two of them went to school separately.
As usual, Ruan Xiaoning took her to school.
