Chapter 337: The Enthusiastic Train Conductor (Part 2)

"No, sister. Didn't you have a quarrel with your man? He even kicked you out of the car. What if you go to find him yourself and he doesn't open the door for you? I'll go with you. As long as you're still on my train, I'll protect you to the end." The conductor's tone became much friendlier when he thought that Meifeng might be someone who was out of her mind. The righteous look on his face as he sought justice for Meifeng made Su Qianshan and the others hold back their laughter.

"Brother, you are a good person, a very good person. I hope you can help this aunt find a man as soon as possible, otherwise what if she runs around in the carriage and is targeted by bad guys?" Su Qianshan patted the conductor's shoulder and said.

The conductor put down the biscuits and milk and saluted Su Qianshan.

"Thank you for your understanding, comrades. The hot water hasn't boiled yet, so I can't make tea. I'll replace it with fresh milk for you. Have a pleasant journey!" After saying that, the conductor gently closed the carriage door again.

"Big sister, I'll be holding this end of the stick in the front, and you'll be holding this end in the back. Please hold on tight and don't let go. There's a lot of people on the bus, and it would be bad if you get squeezed away. Do you understand?"

Meifeng looked incredulous.

What the hell? Could it be that I am really being treated as a fool?

If I had known this, I would have gone to the toilet when the tickets were checked.

Now we are in a dilemma and there is no way to make things right.

Seeing Meifeng standing there in a daze, the conductor thought she didn't understand. He patiently demonstrated it to Meifeng again and asked again, "Do you understand? If you do, nod your head."

Meifeng nodded mechanically.

"You are so obedient, your man will definitely not have the heart to drive you away. Maybe he is looking for you all over the train now." The conductor said softly.

"Brother, you must have misunderstood something. There's nothing wrong with me. I'm normal. Just go and do your thing."

In order to prove that she is a normal person, Meifeng memorized the multiplication table and three ancient poems.

The conductor said: "Applause, you recited really well, sister. It seems your man really cares about you. He still insists on teaching you knowledge even in this situation."

Because Meifeng had mistakenly admitted to the wrong carriage and swore her husband was inside, the conductor was convinced she had some kind of disability. After all, his aunt's in-laws' cousin's son had a classmate with this condition.

"Brother, I'm fine. I can find my man by myself. You can go do your thing."

Meifeng: I really hate people who have no sense of boundaries. They have already put on a bad face, but why does the conductor still follow them?

The conductor said: "I'm really afraid of people having a seizure. If one happens, should I hold her restless limbs down first, or should I put my arm into her mouth? What if she bites her tongue and loses it? Wouldn't that make it even harder for me to survive on this train line?"

"Sister, you can rest assured that I will find your man before we reach the next station." The conductor promised, patting his chest.

"My husband and I were just joking. We didn't really have a fight. I also know where my husband is. You don't need to help me find him. Just go and do your own thing." Meifeng was furious. She stomped her feet a few times and squatted down.

Why is it getting worse the more you describe it?

I feel like I can't express myself clearly even if I have a mouth full of words.

This conductor must be seriously ill. He is so idle that he helps the old lady get on the train.

Could it be that he saw me exchanging tickets with Jianjun?!

The conductor thought Meifeng was having a seizure and unconsciously put his hand on his waist.

Fortunately, he was wearing a belt today. If he was too late later, he could tie his hands with the belt first and then call for help.

"Big sister, don't worry about me. If I say I'll help you find it, I'll definitely do it beautifully. Come on, I'll take you to each car. If you remember which car number it is, just tell me."

After saying that, the conductor handed the stick over again and motioned Meifeng to continue holding it.

"Oh, brother, my stomach hurts. I want to go to the toilet first." Meifeng covered her stomach and kept crying out, half leaning on the train car, and was unwilling to take the stick handed to her by the conductor.

"Brother, you see my stomach hurts so much right now, let's not look for it for now." Meifeng asked tentatively.

But when the conductor learned that Meifeng was not feeling well, he became even more concerned, fearing that something might happen to her right under his nose. "Then I can't let you go looking for her alone. There are so many cars on this train, it'll take forever. Besides, you can't even remember which car you were in. It would be such a hassle to search for her all the way."

The conductor sighed.

The end-of-month summary is imminent. If this good deed doesn't meet the standards, I'll be transferred to the dining car.

"Don't worry, big sister. We will never give up on you just because you have some shortcomings. How about this? I'll accompany you to the bathroom first, and then I'll go with you to find someone."

Meifeng: Give up on me quickly!

Where did this fool come from? He must have gotten this job through the backdoor.

Why don’t you get it?

There are so many people coming and going on this train every day, why is he staring at her?

When one plan failed, another one came up. Meifeng wailed even louder, "Brother, my stomach hurts so much. I can't take it anymore. I need to go to the toilet."

Seeing Meifeng's pale face, the conductor no longer cared about the taboos between men and women. He grabbed her sleeve and rushed to the toilet.

He ran while shouting, "Get out of the way," causing everyone to look out.

After finally reaching the restroom, the door was closed.

"Who's in there? Come out quickly." The conductor knocked on the door loudly.
