Chapter 17: Peeping
"Mr. Chen, what have you been busy with recently? I haven't seen you come out." Zhuang Yu asked with blinking eyes.
"I'm planning to learn alchemy from my father recently." Mu Chen took a sip of tea and said it in a neutral tone.

Mu Chen glanced at Chen Moran coldly and said, "Brother Chen, you think too highly of me. How many Yuanshi do I have?"
What does Zhuang Yu wanting the Ice Lotus Water have to do with him? In the original text, Zhuang Yu always hated Mu Chen's persistence. Mu Chen was killed, which can be said to be the result of Zhuang Yu adding fuel to the fire. He didn't want Zhuang Yu to get the Ice Lotus Water at all. The further Zhuang Yu went, the greater the danger he would be.
Chen Moran said disapprovingly: "Doesn't your father love you? If you ask him for it, he won't give it to you."

Ye Shi hid in the dark, listening to the movements from Mu Chen's side with his ears perked up.
Mu Chen looked in the direction of Ye Shi. When Ye Shi saw Mu Chen's gaze turning towards him, two blushes suddenly appeared on his face.
Mu Chen looked at Ye Shi and couldn't help but smile.
Ye Shi bit his lip and his face turned even redder.
Chen Da saw Ye Shi enter the room and asked, "How is it? I saw Mu Chenmu, how is he?"
"It's terrible." Ye Shi said with a pout.
"It's terrible. How terrible is it?" Chen Da asked.
Ye Shi pursed his lips and said, "He has spent all his money without knowing how. He doesn't even have money left to please his lover. With so many people around Zhuang Yu, it's probably impossible for him to get something for nothing."
Chen Da smiled and said, "It seems that Mu Chen no longer has any feelings for Zhuang Yu."
Ye Shi puffed out his cheeks and twisted his fingers, saying, "Even if he doesn't have feelings for Zhuang Yu anymore, there are still others."
