Chapter 40 Eaten Up
Mu Chen stumbled into the door and said excitedly, "Shi Tou, are you looking for me?"
Ye Shi looked at Mu Chen's reckless appearance, smiled secretly in his heart, nodded, and said, "Yes!"

Mu Chen rubbed his face and said, "In the alchemy room, I was smoked by the fire. The alchemy room was really too hot." Mu Chen shook his head.

Seeing Ye Shi's face coming closer, Mu Chen couldn't help but move closer and kiss Ye Shi on the forehead.
Ye Shi stepped back somewhat embarrassedly, "Where is your grandfather?" Ye Shi couldn't help but ask tentatively.
Mu Chen didn't think much about it and said calmly: "Grandpa is in seclusion."
"Retreat?" Ye Shi was stunned.
Mu Chen nodded and said, "Yes! Grandpa often stays in seclusion. He only comes out when there is a major family event or a particularly large auction."
"How long will he stay in seclusion?" Ye Shi asked with his head tilted.
