Chapter 25 Grievances
"You said Mr. Chen wants to see me?" Ye Shi frowned and said impatiently.
"Yes!" the servant nodded.
"No, you think I'm a monkey. You want everyone who comes to see me and play with me." Ye Shi frowned and said unhappily.
"Shi Tou, Chen Moran is the young master of the Chen family! Our boss can't afford to offend him. You should at least go and meet him, and don't lose face." The servant looked at Ye Shi's ugly face and said carefully.
Ye Shi pursed his lips. After all, he was a nobody and his words carried little weight. He had to give face to everyone he met, and no one had to give him face.
Chen Da looked at Ye Shi and said, "Shi Tou, go out and take a look. Don't offend them."

Chen Moran said disapprovingly, "No way, I heard that you and Muchen are engaged, and he has come to see you more than once."
"What does Mu Chen's matter have to do with you?" Ye Shi frowned.
"Of course it matters. Mu Chen and I are good brothers. His business is my business." Chen Moran said righteously.
Ye Shi couldn't help but sneer in his heart. Although he had not been in Mo City for a long time, he knew that Chen Moran and Muchen were not on good terms. The fact that they were good brothers was simply a joke.
Chen Moran looked at Ye Shi with a look of disdain. "No wonder Muchen's personality has changed so much recently. He barely leaves the house. Could it be that he's been devastated by such an ugly fiancée? If I had a fiancée like that, I'd have to change my personality too."
When Ye Shi heard Chen Moran's words, his face turned pale and blue.
"Mr. Chen, do you have anything else to do? No, I'll go down first." Ye Shi said with a cold face.
Chen Moran sneered, "He doesn't look that good, but he has a bad temper!"
Ye Shi wanted to slap Chen Moran in the face, but he finally held back and retreated silently. Chen Moran saw Ye Shi leaving and did not try to stop him.
"Mu Chen has such a fiancée, but he kept it a secret so tightly." Chen Moran said with a look of schadenfreude.
"Mu Chen, he... is so pitiful." Zhuang Yu sighed and said with sympathy.
When Ye Shi heard Zhuang Yu's sympathetic sigh, his heart tightened for some reason and his eyes became sore. It took a lot of effort for Ye Shi to hold back the tears from rolling down his eyes.
Chen Moran smiled and said, "I heard that Ye Shi works as a boning chef in a restaurant. Mu Chen is so unkind! After all, she is his fiancée, even though she is a little ugly. He shouldn't let a girl like Shuang'er deal with animals in a restaurant all day long!"
Zhuang Yu shook her head and said, "She's just his fiancée. It's hard to say whether he will marry Muchen."
