Chapter 3 An Awesome Space

Lin Yajun vented her anger for the original owner of the body, burning the wedding dress and phoenix crown, taking back the dowry, injuring her cousin Lin Jinghui, and splashing the groom's face with green paint. After all this, her head injury became even more painful, and she went back to the west wing of the east courtyard and lay down.

The father and mother stood in the courtyard outside, talking softly, sighing repeatedly.

Her daughter's marriage was changed, and now she's been branded a wicked woman; she's likely to face a lot of trouble in the future.

"My lord, I just saw that second master of the Ren family, and his eyes were full of resentment as he looked at our daughter. This matter of the door being switched looks extremely bad."

After a moment of silence, Lin's father sighed and said in a low voice, "Our daughter is not as soft-hearted as before, and she knows kung fu. I suppose no one can do anything to her in the future!"

"Husband, it's not as simple as you think. Filial piety and the husband's authority can be so oppressive! Sigh!"

While the couple were talking, Lin Yajun lay on the bed lost in thought: What should I do in the future?

She now basically knows that her situation in this family is not good.

Not long ago, Lin Daoyan, the father of Song Wangfu, was demoted to a lowly guard at the city gate after he brought someone home to stay.

Immediately afterwards, her marriage was arranged by the second wife.

Of course, even after being forced into a marriage arrangement, she would never marry into the Ren family again. "I'd rather run away than marry them!"

She was secretly praying, "I hope I never get married!"

However, my father has been demoted to a lowly soldier guarding the city gate, and he will likely have to live a poor life in the future.

Through the original owner's memories, she figured out that this dynasty practiced a hierarchical system where military households could only be military households for generations, and merchants could only be merchants for generations, somewhat like a modern country's class system.

"How did I end up in such a bizarre dynasty? How did I end up in a military household? Sigh!"

While Lin Yajun was filled with worry, she suddenly remembered something. She raised her slender hands, revealing a small, glittering gold bracelet on her fair left wrist.

When Lin Yajun woke up, she noticed a gold bracelet on her left wrist.

"Strange, how come I have such a gold bracelet on my hand?" Lin Yajun raised her left hand and examined it carefully.

If the bracelet is the original piece, it could be a modern 5D model.

However, this bracelet didn't belong to her. She had always wanted to buy a gold bracelet, but when she entered the gold shop, the high price made her forget to stop.

She examined the gold bracelet closely. On the thin chain was a small gold dog head with tiny diamonds inlaid in its eyes, two small ears hanging down, and a small red bow around its neck.

Lin Yajun played with it for a while and discovered that the puppy's head could actually rotate.

To prevent her from turning in one direction, she spun the puppy's head off the bracelet. She turned it three times to the left and then three times to the right. With a "whoosh," she was sucked into a place.

She stared at the vast, empty space, surrounded by tall birch trees, and murmured in astonishment, "This is a space? Why is there nothing here?"

"Where is the spiritual spring? Where is the treasure? Where are the magical objects?"

She searched around the bushes but found nothing, and was very disappointed.

Lin Yajun stood in the open space, looking around, and found nothing but an empty area. When her gaze fell on a corner of the open space, she noticed a small and exquisite stone table there.

This small stone table looks very delicate and petite. Calling it a small stone table is an understatement; it's more like a small ornament, which seems out of place in the open space and among the tall trees.

"Why is there such a small stone table here?" Lin Yajun wondered. She slowly walked forward, wanting to find out if the stone table was hiding any secrets.

As she approached the stone table, she was surprised to find a line of small characters carved on it. Though tiny, the characters were clearly visible. Lin Yajun leaned closer to examine them; they read: "Turn the dog's head, say what you want, and your wish will be granted."

Lin Yajun's eyes widened in surprise and curiosity. She began to doubt whether her wish could really come true, but her inner desire made her decide to give it a try.

She carefully turned the little dog's head on the bracelet, silently saying, "I want a box of gold nuggets." Before she finished speaking, there was a "snap," and a huge box suddenly appeared on the stone table, filled with glittering gold nuggets!

"My wish really came true!" Lin Yajun could hardly believe her eyes. Her heart raced, and she was overjoyed. She couldn't stop smiling and quickly reached out to pick up a gold bar, feeling its coolness and heavy weight in her hand.

"I'm rich!" Lin Yajun shouted happily, her laughter echoing in the open space. She had never imagined that she would acquire so much wealth so easily; it all felt like a dream.

She continued fiddling with the gold nugget in her hand, her heart filled with anticipation for the future. "Hahaha, I'll never be poor again!" Lin Yajun beamed, as if she could already see herself living a life of abundance.

Next, Lin Yajun ordered several food items, fruits, and drinks as easily as ordering takeout, including coffee, milk tea, pastries, egg tarts, grapes, peaches, and medicines for treating external injuries and internal use.

In the blink of an eye, these items appeared on the stone table as if by magic, with nothing missing.

Lin Yajun happily picked up an egg tart, took a bite, and the sweet taste spread in her mouth, making her squint her eyes in satisfaction.

With her other hand, she picked up a steaming cup of coffee, took a small sip, and the rich aroma of coffee immediately filled her mouth and nose, leaving her with an unforgettable aftertaste. "These must be top-quality coffee beans. I've never had such an aromatic coffee before."

Before she transmigrated, she was a working-class slave who drank instant coffee, which was bitter and lacked the fragrant aroma of coffee beans.

"Wow, this feels as convenient as ordering takeout!" Lin Yajun exclaimed with satisfaction. "This kind of time travel is so awesome!"

After enjoying the delicious food and drinks, Lin Yajun did not forget her injured head.

She used her spatial storage to prepare some medicine and a bottle of purified water, then swallowed several anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving pills, quietly waiting for them to take effect. Before long, her headache gradually subsided, and she felt much more refreshed.

"Hmm, I feel much better now." Lin Yajun took a deep breath, but the anger in her heart did not dissipate despite her improved physical condition. On the contrary, the more she thought about it, the more she felt that the despicable couple was, not only betraying the original owner of this body but also causing her death.

"That scumbag, I don't even care about him!" Lin Yajun said through gritted teeth, "But I absolutely cannot let go of what that despicable couple did to the original owner of this body!"

She decided to make that despicable couple pay for their actions, especially the fact that they killed the original owner of this body, which she found intolerable.

"After all, I survived by borrowing the original body after transmigrating, and it is my duty to avenge her!" Lin Yajun clenched her fists tightly, a resolute glint in her eyes.

She had already decided what to do next: "I'll make them lose everything first, humiliate them, and then slowly kill them to avenge the original owner of this body!"
