Zhang the hunter had a dream. He was on a foggy plain, surrounded by white mist, and he could only see his surroundings.
The fog surged in front of us, clearing a path.
At the end of the road stood a woman, not very tall, but her face was obscured.
The woman approached step by step, and Zhang the hunter stood still with a frown on his face.
He was horrified to discover that no matter how hard he tried, he could never make out the woman's face.
It looked like it was covered by a layer of white stuff.
He heard his own voice asking, "Who are you?"
Without saying a word, the woman rushed forward, picked him up, and slammed him down hard.
Before Zhang could react, he fell to the ground, feeling as if his internal organs had been dislocated...
He bared his teeth and stood up, intending to retaliate.
Unexpectedly, the woman jumped up out of thin air, and he was pinned to the ground, her fists, as big as sandbags, pounding into him.
At first he wanted to fight back, but as soon as he raised his hand, the woman's fierce fist would come down with double the force.
It hurts so much!
Why did I hit him when we had no grudge against each other?
The woman seemed to hear his unspoken question and stopped. "No grudge? Why would I hit you?"
"That's a good question, don't ask it again."
"I don't need a reason to hit someone!"
Fists rained down on him again, and Zhang the hunter coughed up blood and fainted.
Can Chen Yunyun wake him up?
That is definitely not possible.
Ice water appeared out of nowhere, soaking Zhang the hunter completely and bringing him back to his senses.
Seeing another fist coming at him, Zhang the hunter couldn't take it anymore and had no choice but to kneel down and beg for mercy, "I don't know which great immortal has appeared to help me, please don't hit me anymore!"
Chen Yunyun stopped. Hitting people is fun, but it's also tiring. If she hadn't drunk the strength potion, she probably would have been exhausted after just two punches.
Chen Yunyun half-clasped her hands in a fist salute, "You think you're so capable? Didn't you want to dig up a grave? Then go dig it up!"
Amidst the pain, Zhang the hunter faintly heard a woman's complaints, which included mention of digging up a grave.
He came to his senses and became more alert.
"Great Immortal, you are unaware of the truth. That demon has gone too far! My daughter is only twelve years old and is on the verge of death because of the demon! Please, Great Immortal, take her away!"
The woman's snort grew louder, "Nonsense! I've seen it all; your child's matter has nothing to do with ghosts or gods. If you ever do anything immoral again, this old lady will come and take your life!"
"Do less bad things, or I don't think you can protect your son either!"
Hearing the woman's words implying a desire for help, Zhang the hunter disregarded his own pain and crawled forward, pleading, "Great Immortal, is there any medicine that can save my son?"
"Please, Great Immortal, grant me a title. I will offer you sacrifices and serve you like a slave from now on..."
Chen Yunyun found his talking annoying and kicked him out of her dream with a roundhouse kick.
Having dealt with the big ones, hmph, now it's time to deal with the small ones.
After all, her miracle drug isn't exactly delicious.
Zhang the hunter was awakened by the child's crying. He opened his eyes and found himself lying in bed, his whole body feeling as if he had been hit by ninety-nine large stones, and he was in great pain.
I heard a child crying nearby; it was hoarse but strong, and I recognized it as Tiger's voice.
Tiger is awake?
Zhang the hunter was overjoyed and struggled to get out of bed. His body ached terribly, and he unexpectedly fell off the bed, smashing the thermos.
The scalding water splashed onto his face, and blisters quickly formed.
Unable to get up and worried about his son, Zhang the hunter had no choice but to yell, "You damned woman, are you deaf? You haven't come out all day, where have you been slacking off?"
When Tiger's mother returned from washing the clothes, she heard a great commotion in her house, with the sounds of a man cursing and a child crying.
A crying sound?!
Tiger's mother was so startled that she dropped the wooden basin on the ground, spilling all the freshly washed clothes onto the snow.
Pushing open the door, I saw my husband lying on his back on the floor, and my child crying in the inner room.
Hu Zi's mother rushed inside to see her son, bypassing Zhang the hunter lying on the ground.
Tiger had been sick and was so thin he was just skin and bones. He was sitting on the bed crying, and when his mother came in, he cried even louder.
Tiger's mother was heartbroken. She held her son in her arms and comforted him in every way, "Tiger, tell Mom, does it hurt anywhere?"
Tiger sobbed as he answered, "Mom, my whole body aches, but my bottom hurts the most! Someone bullied me just now! Mom, please get revenge for me!"
"Whoever bullied you, Mother will stand up for you."
Tiger hugged his mother, tears streaming down his face, and said, "It was a woman, Mom. I don't know her. She even gave me some really bitter medicine!"
Tiger's mother reached out to touch Tiger's forehead. He didn't have a fever. Why was he starting to talk nonsense? Her son had always stayed at home properly. Where did this woman come from to bully him?
Zhang the hunter finally managed to get up from the ground, walked into the inner room, and kicked Tiger's mother away, yelling, "Damn it, you saw me fall to the ground and didn't even help me up!"
Tiger's mother knew she was in the wrong, and sheepishly touched her nose. Her son was far more important than her husband…
When Tiger saw his father arrive, he didn't even notice the large bumps on his father's forehead. He cried out, "Dad, avenge me!"
“Shoot her with your shotgun! That woman is so mean, she kept hitting me, she punched my face until it was all swollen! Waaah…”
Tiger cried out a big snot bubble. When Zhang the hunter heard his son's words, he was startled. Could it be that his son was also beaten by that woman?
I asked my son several questions in a row, and he answered them all correctly.
That woman whose face I couldn't see was incredibly ruthless when she hit people.
Even after waking up from a dream, my body still aches, and just thinking about it makes my teeth ache.
