Chapter 49 Roasted Whole Lamb in Winter (Part 2)

The sheep on the mountain are all highland snow sheep, eating the tenderest grass on the mountaintop and drinking the clearest water from the mountaintop.

The lamb sizzles and drips oil as it's roasted, filling the house with its delicious aroma.

The mutton was coated with spices by Chen Yunyun, making it glisten.

Dinner was served, and everyone sat around the kitchen.

In the middle is a blazing campfire, with crispy roasted mutton on top.

Every now and then, a few drops of mutton fat would drip into the fire, making it burn even brighter.

After being roasted for a long time, the outer skin of the mutton becomes crispy and fragrant, while the meat inside remains tender and delicious.

As expected of snow lamb, it had absolutely no gamey smell, and by the end, there was even a milky aroma in your mouth.

Tiger had a big appetite and was happily munching on a lamb chop, his face covered in bits of meat.

Da Wa and Niu Niu sat to Chen Yunyun's left, while Hu Zi wolfed down his food to her right.

Across from Chen Yunyun, Rong Yan was also holding a roasted lamb leg. Compared to Hu Zi, his eating manners were worlds apart. Chen Yunyun couldn't bear to look at her godson.

A sheep weighs about 100 pounds, and with Tiger, Chen Yunyun and the others barely managed to eat three pounds.

Rong Yan easily finished the rest by himself, and after eating his fill, a rare look of satisfaction appeared on the man's face.

Chen Yunyun thought to herself, she had guessed before that Rong Yan hadn't eaten enough! She was absolutely right!

"Rong Yan, are you feeling better? Do you need any more medicine?"

Chen Yunyun swore that she was just being polite.

Unexpectedly, that bastard Rong Yan started spouting a string of rare and precious treasures.

Chen Yunyun pretended not to hear and fed the third child a mouthful of milk.

There was a barely perceptible curve at the corner of Rong Yan's mouth, but it quickly disappeared, as if it were an illusion.

After finishing his meal, Rong Yan disappeared again to continue his cultivation.

Tiger ate until his belly was round and full, but he felt a little tipsy even though he didn't drink any alcohol.

In just one meal, he had come to regard Da Wa and Niu Niu as his own younger brother and sister-in-law.

He put a hand on Da Wa's shoulder and mimicked Chen Yunyun's tone, "A Run, if you ever need my help, just mention your older brother's name, and they won't dare to bully you!"

"Once I learn martial arts from my godmother, we'll wipe out Xiyun Commune! Everyone in the surrounding villages will have to call me Boss."

The eldest child had a dark expression and ignored him.

Tiger went to find Niu Niu again, "Little Niu Niu, what kind of hair tie do you like? Your brother Tiger will get you one tomorrow!"

Niu Niu put down her bowl and called out in her childish voice, "Mama! Hu Zi said he's going to steal someone else's hair tie!"

Tiger instantly sobered up a bit. Thinking of Chen Yunyun's fists, which were as big as sandbags, he suddenly realized, "Little Niu Niu, how could you tell on me!"

Chen Yunyun walked over and gave Hu Zi a couple of light taps on his fleshy bottom. "Don't steal, don't rob. If you dare bully the village kids again, see how I deal with you!"

Tiger covered his buttocks, while Fatty's face looked aggrieved.

"Godmother, would you like some roasted field mice? I know how to roast them!"

Tiger was eager to make a name for himself, so without saying a word, he grabbed a fat field mouse from his bag and took a sharp bamboo skewer, pretending to pierce the mouse through.

Before he could react, his hand was empty.

Turning his head, he saw Chen Yunyun squinting at him, asking with a half-smile, "What are you doing?"

Tiger replied, as if wanting to show off, "Godmother, I'll roast a field mouse for you!"

Niu Niu and Da Wa saw Chen Yunyun's expression clearly, exchanged a glance, and realized that their mother was obviously angry.

Let's have a moment of silence for this simple-minded, physically strong tiger...

Soon, the sound of a little boy crying out in pain came from Chen Yunyun's yard!

There are no unruly children in the world that cannot be disciplined. If there are, then just give them a good beating!
