He whispered, "Could it be a dog's nose?"
Chen Jiaojiao saw the pot on the kang with bubbles bubbling out of it, and asked as she climbed onto the kang.
"What is this?"
Jiang Baige replied, "Hot pot, eat quickly! The meat is cooking inside."
As she spoke, she placed the dishes and water in front of Chen Jiaojiao.
Chen Jiaojiao smiled and said, "Then I won't be polite."
As he said that, he picked up a piece of meat with chopsticks.
While eating, he said, "Sister, do you know what my mother made for lunch?"
Jiang Baige shook her head and thought, it’s just steamed buns, porridge and pickles!
Chen Jiaojiao said, "My mother made steamed buns, porridge, and pickles for lunch. I ate this in the morning and at noon, so I came to your place."
Jiang Baige pursed her lips. She had really guessed it.
Chen Jiaojiao tasted the meat. It was hot and spicy, but seemed delicious.
Jiang Baige saw that the tip of her nose was sweating, and then asked, "Is it spicy? Do you want to wash it off with water?"
Chen Jiaojiao shook her head. "It's okay, it's okay. I like it. It feels really good."
Chen Jianguo had almost finished eating, and when he saw his sister wolfing down the food, he said.
"Go slower, there's more in the pot."
Chen Jiaojiao didn't want to bother with her elder brother at all. He secretly ate delicious food without even calling her.
He snorted softly and said, "I know. Hurry up and get me some of that meat and put it in the pot."
Jiang Baige just realized that Chen Jiaojiao was quite good at eating, and it seemed like this was not her first time eating.
Asked: "Jiaojiao, have you ever eaten like this?"
While eating, Chen Jiaojiao showed a smile that could not be hidden.
"We played house in the ditch and cooked and ate it like this twice, but it didn't taste this good. There was no meat, just boiled wild vegetables in plain water, and crabs and so on."
Jiang Baige scooped up a piece of meat for her with her chopsticks, and then said, "It won't taste as good if you cook it outside. Eat more."
