Looking at the mechanic's impatient and tangled face, his whispering to himself, and typing on the calculator, Lu Guansheng couldn't help laughing.
"Hahaha!" Lu Guansheng said to Hayden, who looked embarrassed. "This little brother is interesting! Can you lend him to me? If we can reach an agreement on the deal, I'll build him one. Then he won't destroy your machine next time you have guests."
"What are you going to borrow him for?" Hayden asked.
"Ask him if he's willing to lend me his helicopter to run errands?" Lu Guansheng winked at Hayden.
Before Hayden could answer, the mechanic heard: "I do, I do! Mr. Weitzberg, please approve!"
"Whatever! Just stop embarrassing me! Fortunately, Allen doesn't mind! Be careful!" Hayden glared at him and let him do what he wants! Just don't delay the business!
Lu Guansheng put away the helicopter, stuffed the disc and remote control into the backpack, and threw the backpack directly to the mechanic.
Seeing the mechanic holding the mountaineering bag like a beloved child, with a whimsical smile on his face, Lawrence Lu smiled at Hayden and followed him off the tarmac.
After this incident, the scientists at the European Space Agency all had more or less some admiration for Lu Guansheng.
There aren't many people who are so capable at such a young age!
It was getting late. It always gets dark early in northwestern Europe in winter. At seven o'clock in the evening, it was already pitch black.
After a 12-hour flight and the time difference, the three of them were exhausted. It was already midnight in Jincheng. Today's meeting was just to get to know everyone and pass on their intentions.
Hayden also knew that they had traveled a long distance and needed to adjust to the time difference. After finally introducing his team and getting the letter of intent from Lu Guansheng, he had someone take them to the VIP guesthouse building of the research base.
The conditions here are pretty good. There are two suites, one for Lu Guansheng and one for Zhu Yuhang and Fu Ti.
After settling in and washing up, they were called to Lawrence Lu’s suite.
"What to eat?" Lu Guansheng asked.
"It's the middle of the night, I'm sleepy and can't eat!" Futi's biological clock is still in Jincheng!
"We need to adjust to the jet lag as quickly as possible. Only by following the schedule here can we avoid feeling sleepy in broad daylight. You are not allowed to sleep now, okay?" Lu Guansheng patted Fu Ti's shoulder.
"What's delicious?" Fu Ti asked.
"That's right!" Lu Guansheng smiled and opened the menu. "When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Would you like to try the bratwurst?"
"What?"
"Curry minced meat sausage! It's a local specialty!" Lu Guansheng replied.
"Is there anything lighter? I'm afraid of indigestion if I eat fatty sausages in the middle of the night!" Fu Ti frowned.
"Light? Then you can chew grass!" Lu Guansheng teased Fu Ti.
"Hahahaha!" Zhu Yuhang didn't care about meat or vegetables. "Give me one! I don't mind! As long as it tastes good and has meat!"
"Really, there's nothing light?" Fu Ti still didn't want to eat sausages.
"Just kidding!" Lu Guansheng said with a smile, "There really aren't many light dishes, but you don't have to eat pig intestines."
He ordered an Albert, a thin-crust pizza, for Futi, and the famous German charcoal-grilled white asparagus with hollandaise sauce.
Knowing he didn't have much of an appetite, he didn't order more. Since there was no work to do, Lu Guansheng ordered a pitcher of light white beer for each person.
Soon, the meal was delivered from the kitchen, along with some sauerkraut, some whole wheat bread, butter and cheese!
"Cheers to a successful start to this trip!" Zhu Yuhang raised his glass.
Holding onto the heater, drinking cold beer, and chewing on delicious pig intestines and asparagus, all the fatigue is swept away and my mood instantly becomes better!
After chatting for a while about the matters to be discussed tomorrow, the three of them went to bed early.
Maybe it was because of the time difference, but they couldn’t fall asleep at five in the morning!
They simply got up and went to the cafeteria downstairs for breakfast. Breakfast here didn't start until six o'clock, and there were still fifteen minutes left. They each poured a glass of juice and talked about work.
Soon, Zhu Yuhang smelled the aroma of meat and his stomach started to growl!
"Meat again?" Fu Ti was having a hard time opening his appetite.
"If you want to eat grass, you can do whatever you want! I want to eat meat!" Zhu Yuhang stood up and picked up the plate.
"Eat some buttered eggs, a lamb croissant, a few slices of Brownswick cold meat, and smoked cheese. It's actually not greasy. Would you like to try it?" Lu Guansheng introduced the food to Fu Ti.
Futi usually eats very casually. His breakfast is usually porridge and pickles, and he rarely eats Western food.
Since Lawrence Lu introduced these and the quantity was not large, he did as he was told. Don’t say it, the taste is really good!
In comparison, what was on Zhu Yuhang's plate was like a feast for gluttons!
Zhu Yuhang has a big appetite and likes meat. The German dining habits are really to his liking!
The two fat cooks saw how much Zhu Yuhang ate and laughed while gossiping with each other.
Lu Guansheng, who was slowly selecting food, heard their conversation and decided to join in their gossip.
"Big appetite, huh? No problem! He eats like this every day and doesn't seem fat! He's the type who wastes food!"
"Sir, your German is very good!" A cook said to Lu Guansheng, "We are so happy that you like our traditional food!"
"Ladies, you are great cooks! We are so lucky!" Lu Guansheng replied with a smile.
"Transportation is inconvenient here, and it is our honor to use our own hands to provide guests with delicious authentic food!" The cook was very proud.
"Thank you, ladies! We will stay here for a while. When we have time, we will definitely come to patronize you more often and admire your craftsmanship!" Lu Guansheng winked at them.
